I saw this game at Best Buy this week for $20. I loved the first one, even though it was a little repeatitive. The story more than made up for it. This time around, however, it was okay at best.
PROS - I loved the graphics and weather effects - Picks up where the first one left off - Have Force abilities from the start
CONS - Way too short - Story felt like a small part of this
I can't say I hate the game at all - especially for the $20 price tag. I am, however, VERY glad that I put it back on the shelf when it first came out and had the $60 price tag.

I bought TFU2 right off the rack on it's release day last year. I am already a Star Wars semi-dork, and fan so it was not a choice if I would buy this game or not. I had too.
I enjoyed it...I liked the dual saber action, I enjoyed the continuation of the storyline from the first game, and I did enjoy the inexpensive DL content from the PS store.
I do agree with Patrick that the storyline was short as well. I think that was the only con I had about this game.
In regards to the orig. price versus the greatest hits price...I always feel a twinge of pain in my wallet no matter what game I bought on the OG drop date, then see it a number of months later on the Greatest hits rack for 20 bills. It has happened with Resident Evil, Tekken, Street Fighter, and so on. My one saving grace is I like collecting disc games, esp. when they come with collectible inserts and bonuses.
Good thread, Patrick.

2swift,
I too often buy a game and don't have time to get to finish it. By time I finish it, or get to play it hot and heavy, it is a greatest hit title. And the other thing REALLY pissing me off is when they bring the game back out with all new content added to it - see Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
