For months I have been hitting up a couple stores in the area that have dollar boxes, or have deals like the fill a long box for X-amount of dollars. I got so many back issues to fill in my collections, and started many newer ones.

Well, for the last couple weeks now, my new kick has been getting first appearances. I have been on the web searching all kinds of character first appearances and have so far, bought some good ones. Some of the characters are well known ones and others, not so much. Here is what I came across so far:

Emma Frost (White Queen) & Kitty Pryde

Dazzler

Deadgirl

Supergirl (Cir-El) *from another dimension

Supergirl (Matrix) *hard to explain, don't ask... LOL

you are a true collector, huh? i do miss those days and i actually remember getting x-men 244 and 266 when they were brand new.

BTW, the maxwell lord cover reminds me.. did you like JLE and who the heck was that artist when the series started cause he was really good too.. if memory serves me correct.

The funny thing about Mystique is that she probably will never really have a true "first appearance" because depending on the storyline she could have been anyone at any given moment.

I would hold on to that one that features her in her 'true Mystique' form though....they cant take that away from you. [Wink]
