I've been going and trying to collect some first character appearance comic books lately and have managed to get some rather cheap ones, along with some that were a little more pricey such as Emma Frost (White Queen) and Dazzler of the X-Men. Both comics were back to back issues at 129 and 130, so they're from the 70s to begin with.

Anyhow, I recently bought the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 game and have played the X-23 girl a couple times. I have seen her comics on the shelves, but never paid her much attention. Well, when I looked up her first appearance today, every place I see it for sale sells it for over $50. Anyone know much about her? Is she badass? I know she's a clone of Wolverine somewhat, but not exactly the same. I am just wondering if I should invest in this, or if it will be like other comics in the past and when her popularity dies down some, it will be a lot cheaper. I am sure Deadpool's first appearance shot up with his popularity these days too.

Here is the comic book X-23 debuts in. It's called NYX and is issue 3.

Later on they gave her a few mini-series and this cover, which is a variant, goes for about $200 or so. Not sure the print ratio on it, but that's quite expensive seeing that the 1:75 Wonder Woman 600, Batman 700, Superman 700 aren't going for that much.

And just because we are on a foot fetish board after all...

I've been really interested in checking X-23 comics myself since playing the game, she's a really fun character(along with the majority of the cast). So expensive though!

I have grabbed some of her books this past week, all have been pretty much cover price (caught a few sales, so some were cheaper) and I did get a variant copy for $12 of the X-23 Target X mini-series. Those two books above, if I even get them, are gonna be ones I get last, unless I see a good deal somewhere.
