Okay, I haven't had a lot of good luck trying to shoot photos on train tracks. I did the set of Carmen a couple of years ago for a Wu's Feature set and Carmen and I got chased off by a guy who worked at a nearby train yard. Same sort of thing happened here, but this time with the police.
I had went out for a day of photos with Kimmie. We were going to do some black and white artistic shots along with some foot ones for the site. Well, I found a spot driving downtown that would have given me background to do both. We parked by an old warehouse/factory and walked down the wall that was alongside some train tracks. Okay, now obviously since this building was not in use, no trains would use the tracks right next to the building.
Anyhow, I got about 10 photos in and a police officer comes by and asks me to come over to his truck. The tracks went over a nearby road and the dumbass is sitting on the crossing. Well, he goes on about how people on train tracks often try to commit suicide and all kinds of stuff and that we'll have to move along and for her to keep her clothes on. I apologized and told him we were just taking some artsy photos, showing him one of the black and white ones on my camera. He said make it quick and drove off.
I go back to Kimmie and tell her all of what he said and we're both like, "let's just go somewhere else." I just found it funny that he was worried about us getting hurt or doing something stupid and his truck was sitting still on tracks crossing the road. Whatever! Because of that, this set is only about a dozen photos total, but I thought it would be a neat story and little extra outtake gallery for the site.

Lovely...that`s one of my favourite sceneries...a barefoot girl posing on railway tracks.
Nice and dirty soles, too.

Nice story and pics. I've gotten lucky with a few locations. Usually, I just try to keep my head down and get my job done asap. Not long ago I was worried that a few punks were going to steal my stuff after a photo shoot in a crowded plaza. I packed up my stuff as fast as I could and mixed myself into the masses. Police, thugs and bystanders. All part of the game, I suppose.

Tuna,
During a shoot I did with the twins, Kimmie )above) and Kellie, at a huge water fountain downtown, I thought my cellphone was going to be stolen. I kicked off my shoes and put my phone inside my shoes so I did not ruin it. I got into the water to take some shots. When I was there I saw this guy stand next to my shoes, like he was either eyeing up my phone or just watching us.
