I thought it may be intersting to some, to see what a footgirl looks like when she's not planning to be photographed.
Here are a couple of candid photos, taken from a recent "Footgirl Road Trip", and you can see what these footgirls look like when dressed down - such as while on a camping trip.
For starters, here's Kristin in sweatshirt and jeans ..... and her delicious feet.
Liana has just awoken from a little nap during a long stretch.
Kristin and Liana's feet! Even while off-duty, they are always willing to serve them up and show them off.
A closer look at Liana's foot.
Cranky Girl! Malory tries to wake up after a long sleep in the car. We found a place to stop, rest and buy a few things and I made Malory wake up and come in with us (couldn't leave her out in the car in a strange town).
She was sleepy, zombie-like and cranky - but at least she was wearing her flip flops.
So now you've seen a few of these girls at their worst. I'll add a few or re-visit the concept sometime (when time allows).

My answer: I have a regular job, I do a little volunteering and I teach. After that, there are all these foot-related activities and when you put all this together, it can be a very busy life.
The result of this is that I rely on these footgirls for a good part of my social life. I don't have a lot of time to go out looking for friends, dinner companions, etc. but I do enjoy socializing and other activities.
Fortunately, these girls were friends before the foot-thing, or became friends at the same time they were brought into this little "foot family" and that makes it all a very good fit.
Of course, you can't get any better company than this. Whether it's going out for a simple drive and dinner, meeting for coffee, or a large "pizza and DVD night" at home - even a camp out or a Styx concert!

Good post. I sometimes think girls pay too much attention on trying to look perfect when we actually like to see them looking like a normal girl! This is why I try to shoot some of the "foot celebrities" when I can, in a girl next door look. Nothing too fake, just being real. It adds an element to it. I like this behind the scenes/out takes thing. I actually snap a few photos of the girls cleaning up their feet (after food shoots and such) or just chilling at times to post in my columns or whatever.

You've got a great point about the "natural" look of a girl. It pretty much sums up the whole point of this post. I look at these girls in their most unguarded state and see something so beautiful.
These three, in particular look so good in my eyes even without trying, or doing anything special, it's that undeniable "glow" or "efervesence"; and you can only go up from there.
The comic book thing. Thank you for volunteering your services on that, you'll be the very FIRST person they call - as long as you can stand the prospect of spending all that time with beautiful barefoot girls, collecting background info and inspiration, etc.

I like out-takes a lot for what they reveal. I've actually got about two or three hours worth of out-takes on video - and if I ever get into the editing and (finally) start selling videos and clips, I will eventually make a collection of out-takes available. I've also got hundreds of photos that I consider to be Out-takes and may apportion a special spot on the site for them someday.

C'mon now, Malory. The picture is fine and I saw nothing wrong with it. I know ladies always want to look their best and all, but you have to sleep, tiddy yourself up, etc. Any man with some miles in his car (mature and been around the block) with a woman knows this and accepts this as fact.
