Hey everyone,

Today our area was hit with like 8 or so inches of snow. Mindee, who I also work with, suggested doing a shoot out in the snow. Luckily our workplace closed early and I was able to get over to her house and do some shots.

As I've told some of you, my camera is currently being repaired, so get this, Mindee's mom let us borrow her's. Unfortunetly, it was getting dark outside, so we used the headlights from my car to light the setting. It was a very hard shoot using someone else's camera and with the lighting situation, but there were quite a few of the shots that came out great.

Poor Mindee! Her feet were so cold! [Eek!]

I tried to warm them up a little, but my hands were just as cold! Anyhow, to make a long story short, I was able to get some snow photos of this cute blonde and her size 8s. I will be posting them on Feb. 2, but a couple of preview shots will be teased on the site as of the 26th. But I went ahead and converted a sample shot here. Once again, a special preview for my forum faithful! And I just love Mindee's feet! [Smile]

You wouldn't have believed how cold her soles and toes were! When we were in the house, I grabbed them and rubbed them a little while the photos uploaded to my laptop. Man, they were soooo cold! We ended up doing like +60 shots, but a number of them came out too blurry because of the poor lighting conditions. Some of them are not up to par for my standard with not having access to my camera's functions with close ups and extra zoom, but the photos that came out were still unique and lovely.

Only 8"? hehe You should've brought her over here to take the pics, we had about 13.5" in my neck of the woods. Nice pic, by the way. I love how the lusty vibrancy of Mindee's red nailpolish rips through the sterility of the white snowy backdrop. Sweet stuff!

Thanks for the comment on the above picture. A number of them came out well, just as that one did. But a few of them came out blurry [Cry]

I was using her mother's camera and some of the functions weren't available that I was used to. I will sharpen some of them to see what I can get, but either way, I will still have enough to do a post with the lovely Mindee playing barefoot in the snow.

Naah... Can't be getting too romantic with a friend of mine due to be married this year. We waited to warm her feet up once we got back in the house. Little bit of rubbing (with and without socks on) and then she sat up on the counter and put some warm water in the sink. I was so tempted to take her photos on the counter too. Maybe some bubbles and all. [Smile]

Yeah, the only guilt I had about doing the set was how cold her feet where! Man, they were like ICE! Wet and slippery, but oh sooooooooo cold!

I told her all your comments about her photos today when I saw her. She was so happy that everyone liked the set and that they appreciated her freezing her tootsies off. I had to remind her it was her idea though. [Smile]
