This week I have a great little double dose update.
First up is a new model named Nikki (size 7). Nikki has been a friend of mine since I was little. Growing up her older brother was one of my best friends. In our senior year he passed away over time Nikki and I didn't see much of each other. Fast forward all these years and we caught up and ended up hanging out. I mentioned Soles of Silk and told her I'd love to have her pose. She seemed unsure, but a couple months later she told me she was going to do it. I was excited and we had a fun day of photos. The best thing was, her older sister told her, "Why you going to pose your feet, Nikki? You don't have cute feet." Well, I caught a glimpse of them weeks before and didn't think so. I certainly didn't think so looking at them in front of my camera. I assured her that her feet are lots of things, but ugly isn't one of them.
And next up is the follow up set to Ginger's Ravens themed set for 2010. We did the first set up in the stands while a girls soccer practice was taking place down on the field. When we were close to wrapping up our shoot, the practice ended and we both looked at each other and said, "Lets do some down on the field too." And that we did.
