Here's an Article that sees Rob Lowe as a possibility. Dunno.... Some of the comments below suggest Robert Downey Jr which seems to be popular. Another one mentioned is John Stamos.

Who do you think should replace Sheen?

I'm not a huge fan of the series but have seen 20+ episodes through the run. The first person that came to mind was this dude. He has that similar calm sarcstic quality as Sheen does and have seen it in the movie Loaded Weapon.

His brother Emilio Estevez. I think he was the perfect stand in. Too bad that he was in a previous episode where he died with-in the first Two and a Half minutes ( [Wink] ).
 -

On the flipside, A while back around 2000, thought that Sheen would be an awkward replacement to Michael J Fox in Spin City. But the series did fly for another couple years (Two And a Half maybe.... BUH-DUM-CHSSSHHH [Wink] )

Calm down Andy, didn't have enough rebulls this morning eh? [Big Grin]

Not a huge fan myself. Wouldn't miss it if it was canned. Had a chance to watch it on the plane one time where they had 5 episodes or so loaded into the entertainment system, but chose to watch the stand up comedian "Walking Down The Street - Carl Barron" instead. Now theres a funny man....lol I even chose to watch "TWILIGHT" (the second one SHHHHHHHHH don't tell anybody [Blush] ..... [Big Grin] ) over 2and a half.

I agree with Andy. It should be canceled.

Without Charlie, it won't be the same, and the writing has been slipping the last three or four seasons anyway.

Ha, I can't talk for liking shit.

Same situation - on a plane from Aus and I watched (and enjoyed) America's Next Top Model [Laugh]

I know this might sound like its putting the premise on its ear, but I would give the role to a cartoon like bugs bunny (warner bros owns the show) like they did with space jam. but I also love snoop dogg for the role. he could be the cool rapper uncle. or dane cook, he's really energetic and enthusiastic. and what about Charles barkley? he's hillarious.

any of these people would be better than would be better than john stamos or rob low

but honestly, who cares? the show has been on for 177 episodes. how many shows last that long?

Posted by combine_hunter (Member # 39526) on :

Not many.

I bet Jon Cryer cares, though. [Laugh]

Ohhhh ok ok ok.... here are some other suggestions I think might work also...lol [Wink]

MC Hammer
 -

Cheech Marin
 -

Chuck Norris
 -

Chewbacca
 -

and Gumby...lol

I was being serious. I don't know why you are turning your own thread into a joke. I wasn't kidding about bugs bunny. I've seen him in "space jam," and in "back in action" plus as a comedian in general, bugs bunny has a very adult sense of humour.

But they would never do it bc it would cost too much money to animate him into the scene. But I guess comedicely the human equivalent would be chappelle.

But you just listed old people. Chuck Norris? How could possibility work? And gumby and chewbacca? That's just dumb

If there's anyone who I would love to see replace him is John Stamos. I'm not interested in any other names. If Stamos can't do it, then the next guy should be Mike "The Situation." I'm mostly kidding about Mike because that'll be an acid trip of sorts, but fully serious about Stamos. Otherwise, the show should be done with entirely.

That was one of my favorite shows and Charlie Sheen is the man. So the guy partied too hard one too many times. So what?

His next hit should be on SpikeTV where they understand that men are pigs and that we like ESPN and hot sluts in high heels. I do. [Smile]

All very well and good, but he beats women. He is untold amounts of scum simply for that. Add the fact that he's got kids to that and he's on TV with stupid amounts of media coverage, influencing as many impressionable young people who see him to be an idol as a celebrity and you can see where I'm coming from.

If you're gonna sleep with prostitutes and do coke and drink your liver into submission, then go for it...if you haven't got tiny little commitments like oh, say, bringing up two human beings.

I know. But still...

I don't want to sleep with prostitutes, just your regular, everyday hot girl who won't mind doing slutty things. I'll leave the prostitutes up to Charlie. Never did drugs, but I don't mind the drinking. However, I won't go on such a crash course if I had any children to raise.

Oh no don't misunderstand, that was directed at Sheen, not you. I wasn't accusing you of being him or anything [Tongue]

Just...he's really not a hero...he's a vile cunt.

My apologies 'key', thought you were being sarcastic..... sorry [Smile]

What about Ryan Reynolds? He's another one can bring forward a sarcasitc/comedic attitude easily. A lil' on the young side but at 34 (10yrs Charlies juniour), may have a closer relationship to Jake. Maybe step in as Charlie and Alan's younger brother/cousin?

 -

Not too sure if he'd be available anyway coz I think he's still trapped in a coffin underground somewhere middle east and don't think he'd make the audition [Tongue] .

I'd rather see John Stamos than Ryan Reynolds.

Hell, Bugs Bunny would be better than Ryan Reynolds. [Laugh]

I don't think it could be pulled off with out the drunken whore monger himself. It'd end up being like the American version of top gear; a bit like the original, but just enough that that makes it EVEN worse, and then you end up launching the nearest object at your poor innocent tv.
So no, just no.

I don't know if anyone has heard the news. Ashton Kutcher is going to be Charlie's replacement on Two and a Half Men.

Posted by combine_hunter (Member # 39526) on :

I'm still in denial, National.

Kutcher? Didn't see that one commin'. Interested into seeing how he's written in and how it would play out.
