David Carradine was found dead in Bangkok of what police are calling suicide. They say he hanged himself in a closet at his hotel. He was in Bangkok working on a new film called "Stretch". Mr. Carradine was 72.
This came as a shocker to me! Another Hollywood icon gone.

When I first heard he was found naked, I thought 'why get naked if you are going to hang yourself, would you really want to be found that way'?

I just read the updated report this morning. Looks like you might be right. I've heard of this before. But, why would you tie a rope around your "goodies" too? Never heard of that one. That'll be in the tabloids for a while. Sad.

Autoerotic asphyxiation... blows my mind. We've had at least 3 accidental AA's in the local high schools in the past five years (in a city of 60,000!) I hope this doesn't become his legacy. Thesmokinggun.com had some interesting info... not judging, but he was a very different dude.

David Carradine autopsy and death scene photos leaked
Reports have surfaced that in addition to the David Carradine death photos that were leaked then published in the Thai Rath magazine, now autopsy photos of the actor have been leaked to the Thai press as well. It is possible that the autopsy and death scene photos will be published in Thai paper, sure to cause more frustration to an already grieving Carradine family.
The photos reportedly depict Carradine’s body fully nude, and laying on the coroner’s table. Radar Online describes the photos as ‘explicit’. Today results of a second autopsy confirmed that the actor did not die from suicide, however the cause of death is still being investigated.

sadly, INXS-frontman (before that stupid reality tv guy) michael hutchence died the same way. so the rumours go...
just awful. celebrity deaths must be so hard for the family, having pictures of your father, grandfather or what have you, in that situation, splashed all over the internet.

Poor dude . I realize it's just a corpse for now, but I do feel sorry for him (or should I say his body) being disrespected in that way. I believe him to be a well respected american icon and someones gotta get over there and kick some serious ass.....
I guess if someone paid enough dosh-$$$ to get the pics........ It's just plain sad...
