I ran the test with my daughter (in German) and she answered the same thing...seems to be universal and independent of the language

I went green beans (after I dismissed cucumber which isn't really a vegetable).

I suspect that the reason it works on so many people is that carrots are among the more preferred and popular vegetables - when was the last time you were in a restaurant that served, for example, Lima Beans? My guess is that any number used for this would have yielded the same resulting vegetable selection.

There I go again...spoiling everything.

I did a test like this before but it asked for a color and a tool instead of a vegetable. It claimed that 98% percent of people thought of red hammer.

At first I thought of tomatoe, then I remembered tomatoe is not a vegetable so I said broccoli.

The test was okay.
