It never fails, whenever I am running late or in a hurry to be somewhere, I get behind grandpa Jones without any ability to pass! Slow people move aside! This really irritates me! How about the rest of you? Is there anything in particular that drives you completely insane when you are driving to and from?

Just curious and happy motoring! [Mad]

Regards,

Yup, RED effin' traffic lights. They always seem to go red when I'm late for something.

Ummmmm drivers? Drivers who pull out of driveways in front of you not getting up to speed quick enough...

I'm more annoyed by drivers that speed well over the limit whip in and out of traffic and seem to feel where they are going is far more important than the safety of themselves, their passengers, or other drivers on the road.

I made a 67 mile round trip drive to work every day for 5 years until recently. I made sure to give myself plenty of drive time to work and usually kept the car at 70mph in a 65. Pretty much just going with the flow of the rest of the traffic and staying in one lane most of the trip. The problem would arrive when someone thinks you aren't going fast enough (even though I'm already going a little over the limit) and zooms from behind me, passes me, and then cuts in front in my lane almost hitting the front end of the car.

My wife told me about one fuck tard that was way to impatient to drive at a safe speed on an icy highway one cold winter years ago. This guy zoomed up on her while she was driving 20 on friggen ice. He passed her, flipped her the bird and continued down the road at 60 or so! She putted down the highway and waved to him when she passed his smashed up truck in a ditch about a half mile down the way. Karma!

Why, when I'm driving a little over the speed limit and theres an empty lane to the right or left, someone passes me, cuts me off to get in my lane and then slows down.

Yeah i hate when there are two lanes and someone gets to the right of you and beats you off the line and then purposely goes slower once it goes to one lane and they get in front of you.

Before gas got bad - I used to fly - I don't like anyone driving next to me so I like to get out there. So I feel U.

Lot people thinks red means go andgreen means stop.

I dont really get stressed out in the car... cause I am usually the crappy driver! lol

Hey - I can admit it. I dont go fast, my merging skills are horrible, and at 33 I have yet to sucessfully parallel park- ever...

Lets see- what else... I have applied makeup while driving... I talk on my cell phone...

So what others do when they drive- I could care less - and my husband is 100 opposite and will yell. I tell him all the time - EVERYTIME YOU GET PISSED AT THEM-REALLY YOU ARE PISSED AT ME CAUSE I PROBABLY DO THE SAME DAMN THING!

Hey at least my feet are cute! lol

Every day that I go to work is a 36 mile drive. This is all on two-lane roads crossing from one state to another. The philosophy of delineating passing lanes is remarkably different between Pa. and Ohio (in Pa. you can see the whole available passing area, in Oh. they judge the visibility from any given point such that the passer is faced with blind rises and passing zones on curves - I hate that, too).

I have encountered just about every "John & Mary" situation imaginable. Farm equipment, horse & buggy, without notice a bridge was condemned and closed near the border (had to backtrack a mile and take my best guess on what roads - with paint - I might still get to work). The one thing that I haven't encountered, which is what I expect to find after I've said, "Now what...?" The Amish funeral procession.

Still, I only undergo only a small amount of aggravation from it as the folks at work aren't so concerned about WHEN I get there...just so long as I get there.

Meant to mention that it's 36 miles back to home, too with all the same encumbrances and the addition of migrating deer. There's really nobody that cares whether I get home at any given time but me - the sooner, the better.

In the next few weeks I will be working from home mostly... I cant wait to not have to drive... Driving is a distraction lol!

And driving also cost a lot of money. I dont do as much joy riding like I used to do.
