This thread is inspired from Panic's thread of Wanting a new PC....

Mines 3yrs+ old, a cheap custom build with cheap parts, scored for a grand ($1000)... probably worth about $300 - $350 now I suppose.

P.C running Windows XP
2.66 GHz Intel Pentium 4
512MB Ram (shared graphics... yeah no card)
80 + 320GB HD space, don't ask me why but it's over 3/4 full [Eek!] alot of rubbish...

More than comfortable as I don't run heavy power hungry programs or games on here, so would probably upgrade in another 2 years or so... Maybe then blu-ray would be more mainstream...

Mine just turned six years old. running Windows XP Intel celeron 1.70GHz 352MB RAM It had a 20 GB hard drive when I bought it. I put in a 160GB hard drive 6 months ago. I replaced the sound card about 3 months ago. (Bought one on Ebay for $4.00) It's got a cd burner and DVD player. I don't remember what I paid for it. Probably around $800.00 with a monitor back in 2002.

It works fine for me. I'm not a gamer or audiophile so, I don't have a need for any high speed graphics or high quality sound.
