It's hard to have a favorite with so many classics, but I narrow it down to three
•1) Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) •2) Super Mario RPG (SNES) •3) Super Mario World (SNES)

Was it released in North America because I really don't remember it and I feel that I should. Do you have any screencaps or a link to a site where there's info on the game?

I just checked Wikipedia and it appears that the game was released in 1996 which could explain why I don't remember it. Iirc I had already sold my SNES by that time.

Wasn't much of a mario fan due to me not having a nintendo. Used to go over friends houses to play but too many of us ment not much time for me to get stuck into it... I had the old Mario Bros game on Atari 7800... that was about it

Super Mario 64. It was ground breaking and not since Mario Galaxy on the Wii has a Mario game been so original.

Not much of a Mario fan, either...but I´ve played "Super Mario Land 1 + 2" on the Gameboy...the second one is pretty cool.
I've never seen that game but it looks kinda cool. Only problem with playing that type of game on a computer is that it goes a hell of lot better with a controller, which I don't have.
Anyone else ever play Super Mario Baby on the NES? Or Super Mario 5&? Some elements of Super Mario 5&6 made it into Super Mario World, the cucumber shower for example.

I loved Mario 64, but I think the Nintendo 64's inability to compete with the PS2 took away a lot of my interest to play video games.

mario 64 was against the ps1 it was gamecube vs ps2 wats crazy is the gamecube was technically more powerful then the ps2 it just didnt get the support from 3rd part publishers

the average gamer is about 28 and nintendo has a reputation of making kids games

Super Mario World (SNES) and Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) are tied for my favorites. I actually don't care for 3D Mario at all.

It is a toss up between Mario 64 (N64) and Super Mario Brothers 2 (NES)
