I was wondering when this thread was gonna come out. I probably should have made it myself, just never thought about it.
Leona Heidern from King of Fighters. She's definitely not the sexiest girl, or most popular girl, from KOF, but she's my favorite. No nonsense, tough as nails, and will kill you before she cracks a smile even once. One of the many reasons I'm such a big Ikari team fan.
Yuri Sakazaki from King of Fighters. My 2nd favorite from KOF, and again, not one of the typically popular girls from the series (unlike Mai or Athena). She's like the girl next door in the way she's portrayed, spunky, sense of humor, and can most definitely kick your ass.
Chai Xianghua from Soul Calibur. Since Xianghua's my absolute best character in this game, she's also one of my all-time favorite characters in any video game. If you pay close attention to the storyline, this brave, playful, and determined dancer in the employ of the Chinese emeperor is the real main character in the series, being the user of the series' titular weapon. As far as SC goes, probably an unconventional pick considering Ivy, Taki, and Sophitia are much more popular, but Xianghua is my girl.
Claire Redfield from Resident Evil. The 2nd female in RE's traditional 4 heroes (Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire), I prefer Claire over Jill because of the fact that she's the poster girl of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Resourceful, sarcastic, beautifl, and she rides a Harley. What's not to like?
Hyuuga Hinata from Naruto. She's become probably my favorite female anime character. It's easy to sympathisize with Hinata: she's painfully shy, she's seen as the lesser of her father's two daughters, her cousin is considered to be vastly superior to her, and to top it all of, her crush (Naruto) is too infatuated with another girl, yet Hinata soldiers on and tries to be the best ninja she can be. But it's hard to be a ninja when she's naturally timid, easily intimidated by others (at first), and is probably the absolute sweetest, kindest person in town.
These 5 beat out other favorites of mine like Kylie Griffin from Extreme Ghostbusters (vastly underrated show), Sam Manson from Danny Phantom, Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, Tifa Lockheart from FF VII, Ayanami Rei from Evangelion, and April O'Neill from TMNT, and not by much.
