This Off-Topic thread is starting to gain in popularity and the main forum lagging in it....Right now, in the first 20 threads in BOTH forums, it says the date of the recent post, and for probably the first time I have ever seen the most 20 recent threads date back to the last 48 hours or so....plus this thread is inching closer to the 10,000 mark!

Tru dat .. The main forum moves too fast.... and with newbies commin' in all the time, the same ol' subjects seem to arise... I just like to browse the main forum and plonk my comments/ideas here and there but mostly hang-out here and the 'Foot Pictures' sub-forum....
Come to think of it... Haven't even tried all the sub-forums since I've joined.... Might do a lil' explorin' now

I am starting to feel my way further around this forum more and personally I agree with all of you so far.
I try to be original with my pic posts but sometimes - with pictures in hand ready to be posted - I will open the "Foot Pics" section to see an overload of the same exact topics and foot pic ideas over and over again. Even worse is when I am original (or any of the girls are) a mass of one time posters come in and "rape" the topics with the matching pics after mine.
This discourages me and I am sure other girls to post. Why would you guys all want to see my cummy feet or soles, when there are 5 to 10 different posters with pics in the same topic??
The new threads get pushed back so quickly as well. It is easy to miss a post here and there.

I agree with You, and you Mommie Dearest(that was tough to say.) A foot pic isn't just a foot pic, just like Honey Nut cheerios aren't the same as store brand honey oaty o's. The main forum is slowing down even more so now, it's probably 2 or 3 times as slow as it was several months ago. I hope it gains back the speed it once had.

Could be people posting advice more. I think some of the newbies are inept to share their experiences. I remember it felt really weird making my introductary post way back in 2004, and had a nice welcome in. The biggest part, though, is the same topic that come up over and over again that cause the more dedicated members to lose interest. Maybe Wu could totally rechange the forum so that there is also a more direct way to search by topic rather than the site's search engine. Sometimes findings are posted multiple times - I remember one time recently three or four people had a post on the first page about the exact same finding. I just personally feel that this community needs to do what it can to expand and expand - I feel that this community is getting bigger and bigger with evident proof of more and more members joining each day, but at the same time it seems that throughout the last several years the number of frequent posters has always been consistent, with 'hall of famers' being replaced and recycled by 'newbies.' Don't get me wrong this is a great community I just hope that will always be the case here.

I like this section a lot even though I'm still having a hard time getting over my lurker-ness. Just because I'm obsessed with feet doesn't mean I only want to talk about feet. It's kinda cool to talk about things other than feet with people here because even if we disagree on things like politics, sports, or whatever, we'll always have common foot fetish ground to fall back on.

I have to agree with cfg, I have found a community here that I like and enjoy discussing things that are outside the realm of what brought us here.
Dare I mention that there are other features to the female form that I find enthralling? Is it heresy to mention that, for 2 or 3 seconds out of each minute, I don't think about sex and do (or maybe think about) something productive?
