My goodness, the first few days of October have been egregiously warm, as today is forecasted to hit 90? in some areas. The weather has been getting warmer and warmer the last ten years, and the majority of the warmest summers recorded have happened in that recent 10-year time span. Its as if Mother Nature is telling us to be careful what we put into the environment with these record-setting temperatures. [Laugh] But for real, it might be time for us to make an eco-movement to watch what we put into our environment.

The local radio station said we have the smallest pumpkins in years, due to global warming. I believe the threat is real and more actions need to be taken to save our planet.

When gas gets to $4.00 a gallon (and it won't be soon before long) there'll be some sort of movement for sure. Or maybe once the weather cools down, who wants to make a move when it hit 91?in Michigan in October??

For what it is worth, I remember 1992...I was in 8th grade. Our local ski resort opened for the season October 30th with 10 out of 21 trails on a Natural and Machine made packed powder surface. We did not have a Halloween because we had 8 inches of snow. NE, PA.

Presently...I wore cargo shorts and polo shirt to work last night. Go figure!

Here on the other side of the world it's still on the early side of spring but feels like summer already AT TIMES.....

eg. The fluctuation of the outside temperature span today was quite wide... At two points of the day I would be wearing a singlet coz it was too damn hot, but in between there would be times where I would need a hoodie coz it was cold and showery...

C'MON FOOT-PEOPLE, as long as we do our part to give a shit about the earth where our most prized fetish gemz walk upon, it could spread to other generations of foot-people after us and shift our gloabal destruction down a gear [Wink] ...

Well there is defintely a trend in warming. However as far back as around 1985 I can remember here in Texas one day in December where the temperature hit 90! That was a fluke of nature though.

Last year we barely had temperatures drop below freezing and only one day of snow and ice. The summer was mild though only hitting 100 a few times so I predict a colder harsher winter. Well, by Texas standards at least.

I too applaud Al Gore's efforts, but I fear it may be too late. The trend in Central Europe has been mild winters (at least in the area where I'm at) and blistering Summers. Germany is still quite green, but I haven't seen so much brown vegetation since I moved here in 1989...scary!

Unfortunately not here in North Germany...here it`s shitty winters and shitty summers since about 10 years. Sucks big time, especially if you want to take photos of feet outdoors [Roll Eyes]
