Feh, I know of a couple of members in their 50s. I only just turned 39 and I probably have underwear in my dresser drawers older than you whelps.

I bet. My friend just bought an old Minor Threat (old DC hardcore band) shirt from 1982 on Ebay...I think he spent a few hundred bucks but he said it will be worth more in a few years.

He said there are actually people out there who collect band shirts...he has about 200 but he knows a guy who has over 1000. Insane.

Holy crap! Maybe I need to dig some of these old Samhain shirts out of these drawers around here and hit ebay myself! [Thumbs Up]

63? I think we have a winner folks! [Woot]

I've got a ways to go before I can try for oldest member. I'm 34, and very recently tried calling this beautiful chick up for a date...only to find out that she was just 19...and it, well...bothered me! [Laugh]

I guess that's a sign that I'm getting older. [Confused] [Big Grin]

You may be getting older, but it's not like you're dead yet! Why not give her the privilege of going out with a mature, older guy? Just a thought.

Well, I conveniently "forgot" to mention that she wasn't all that interested in me to begin with. [Laugh]

Still, when I found out her age, I didn't let her lack of enthusiasm get me down. If she was closer to my age, I probably would've. Not sure why... [Confused]

I'll never forget seeing her go barefoot at her job though...sweet memories alright! [Mmm]

I'm only 22, but I'm already starting to feel old. Every time I drive by my old high school (Class of '02, myself), all the kids going there all look like little kids to me, and they're only about 4-6 years younger than me. Not only that but....I've got a few gray pubes [Eek!] ! Oh well, you're only as old as you wanna feel, Admiral David Farragut (from the Civil War) used to say he wouldn't consider himself old until he wasn't able to do a backflip on his birthday anymore. The last backflip he did was when he turned 73.

I'm so old that I knew the Dead Sea when it was only sick...I was the busboy at The Last Supper.

Aw, geeze; I'll fess-up to this much: The second time I attended a Pink Floyd concert was on their "Dark Side of the Moon" tour. The first Yes concert was supporting the release of "Close to the Edge". The first concert (well, rock concert) I ever attended was Black Sabbath supporting "Paranoid" it was, by any measure, terrible (very disappointing at my young age to realize that I could play circles around Tony Iommi - all I lacked was a massive bank of Marshalls).

I remember reading a review of Sabbath from the 70s stating something like, "The music of Black Sabbath is played with the technical skills and musicianship of four year olds."

Needless to say they are still one of my all time favorite bands. [Laugh]

Oh yeah, well I'm so old I knew "The Who" when they were just "The Huh?" I knew "Yes" when they were just "Yeah." [Laugh]

Well i am 35 so i know that 63 has me beat.

Posted by Toetapper (Member # 6473) on :

Got a couple of my licks from the "Guess Who?" but, at the time they were known as the "So, What?".

Didn't see a 63, above, and glad I haven't found it yet.

I turned 50 last month. I guess it's a good thing we didn't have the internet back when I was 19 or 20. I probably would have used up all my stuff a long time ago. Be careful young'ns ya might wind up with nuts like rasins.

[Jerkoff] [Laugh]

Hmmm, I date women 1/2 my age plus 7. I have done baby triathalons as long as I can remember - and the swim is my strong suit. Hip Hop is my inspiration. When I played soccer at Div IA - didn't have cuts - they quit. Mental and physical toughness has no age!

Not to "out-do", honestly, here's one I scarcely remember. Caught "Bachman-Turner" when they had called themselves "Brave Belt".
