If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Kobe Bryant paid his wife off with a $4 million ring after he committed adultery.

Brian Callahan bought his Internet love interest a $40,000 ring knowing he was a married man.

Big weddings, big gifts, and big payoffs usually signify grave things to come, or grave things that have come to pass.

And what is the deal with Jermaine Dupree buying Janet Jackson a Louis Vuitton birthday cake costing $8,000, and a 2006 white Porsche Cayman (starting price $58,000)? She wants to marry him, and have his child. IMO, after seeing that type of cash outlay, she really should rethink that.

I knew a couple that were together for seven years, got engaged in the seventh or eighth year, had a huge wedding, and divorced less than a year later.

Luckily my old lady and myself are not very materialistic to feel the need to flaunt expensive jewelry, flashy clothes, or fancy cars. Of course my income wouldn't allow for that even if we wanted to! [Laugh]

We had the budget wedding at the Justice of the Peace after living together for 5 years. Our 11th wedding anniversary is actually this Friday so there you have it. Lennon/McCartney said it best: "Can't Buy Me Love!"

More or less it's just them being greedy jackoffs saying look at what I can afford. That kinda shit is why screech from Saved by The Bell is Begging people to save his house. Serves ya right jackoff.
