What about all of the other young men that gave their lives? No cushy football, just thier entire existence. I understand the point here, however we cannot martyr one because he was a celebrity and forget the rest. I mourn the loss of all of our young Americans, not just the loss of a football player. Do you think the parents of any of the other lives we have lost care to see the football player get more attention than thier children who have sacrificed the same? Love and respect to Tillman, as well as all of the other lives we have lost for Israeli and petrochemical reasons.

Well put Neo. I totally agree with you on this matter. I don't know how much coverage this story is getting in your neck of the woods, but here in Phoenix, they're devoting entire newscasts to it because he went to ASU & played for the Cardinals. Enough already! Yes Pat Tillman is (was) a great American, but don't forget about all the other great Americans who have lost their lives or are still fighting for OUR freedom. Sasha, that was not an attack. Typed word seems harsh. Your points are correct. However, the discussion started with Tillman, not the others. That was kind of my point. It is easy to fight for your own rights, not so easy to fight for everyones. Much respect to all.
