I've been in Australia for almost a year now and have never caught a train before. I thought It'd be too much trouble and didn't bother. My car broke down 2 weeks ago and I had no other choice to get to work. Anyhoo It's been 2 weeks using the train and it's great. If I knew all the $$ and time I would've saved, I would've done it sooner.
Even in growing up in New Zealan I've only used the bus as public transport but when I got my 1st car, that was the end of that.
I still buzz out at the different types of people you get in the train and trams. The annoying group of old lady gas-bags, the loud phone talkers....
Still learning the ropes but I can't wait til' summer when I see more foot-revealing footwear. Saw a couple a hottie peds today but nothin' special.
Anyhoo anyone got any personal stories of public transport or what to watch out for?????

I remember when I used to take a bus to go to work when I was in high school. The bus was a great way to see some pretty feet, as well as see some interesting people. There was one girl who would ride the bus at night when I was getting off work. She often wore flip-flops and had an amazing arch. Really high and sexy with very cute toes. There was one guy who had a problem with burping. Every several minutes, he would let out a loud burp. One lady smelled like she bathed in pepper. There was an old man, around 60 something, who would wear young people clothing. Baseball cap to the side, baggy jeans, basketball or football jersey. One lady would talk to herself as if she was preparing to fight someone. Just some of the regulars that I used to see on the bus on my way to work. Riding the bus in Pittsburgh was very entertaining at times.
My sister told me about one time when she was riding the bus, she noticed a guy sitting all by himself in the back. A lady got on the bus and knew the guy, so the lady walked all the way to the back to talk to the guy. Next thing my sister hears, the lady yells at the guy and another lady pops her head up from the guys lap, and all you heard was a "plop" sound. The guy was getting a blow job and the lady who yelled at him was his girlgriend. The "plop" sound was from the girl's lips as it let go of his penis.

Last week, the bus I usually take from my school to home didn't arrive until nearly 2 hours after it was supposed to. In that time span, there should have been at least 3 buses, but none of them came. The kicker? It did this two days in a row.
The first day, I called up my mom and had her take me home; she happened to have a late lunch break that day. The next day, I wasn't so lucky, so I decided to walk the 5 miles from my school to my house. In 90F weather. The kicker was that the bus passed me by when I was pretty much a hop, skip, and jump from my house. Really left a bad taste in my mouth.
...But it wasn't all bad. During the walk, I met a girl who was also waiting for the bus, and we walked together and talked (and she was wearing flip-flops even ). She offered me her phone number and I took it, though the thing is I'm already talking to another girl. What timing fate has...

This avo it was raining and wet. Was on the tram on the way to the train station after work homebound. A young asian chick had wet flats and was complaining about it to her friend next to her. She pulled out her nice semi wet slim long slender feet all soft which was just a mouthwatering moment. For that whole ride she bent, flexed her feet while chattin' away. An awesome sight to see.

Yeah, it does. As soon as it enters the city it goes underground. Not much to look at down there except other passengers in the reflection .
