Its finally here the day i have been waiting for.... The culmination of my being... The day i go see Dark Knight at Imax. I know, I know i am almost 36 years old but Batman has always been my favorite Super Hero. The dark knight who takes care of evil doers in the shadow of the darkness. Christopher Nolan is the man as far as representing Batman in his superb directing and screenplay. Now i just have to figure out should i wear the utility belt and the cape or just the belt or just the cape without the belt... Just kidding... I think

Been waiting to see it....two times we tried to get tickets they sold out...heard mixed things thus far, from an overdone plot to it being rather impressive.....

No shame in being 36 and a Batman fan, I'm 29 and I'm dying to see it too. I'm going to try and go see it later. They have it playing on several screens at the theatre that I'm going to go to but I'm still worried that it'll be sold out when I get there and I'll have to buy a ticket for a later show. I mean sure I'll still get to see it but I don't drive and it's about a 30-minute walk and it's hot as fuck outside today. It'll be worth it though.

I gotta wait a lil' before it's released in this country in 4 days. I'm gonna watch it via IMAX aswell.
Hate the new cinema complex where they have allocated seating so you gotta sit where you're suppose to, unlike IMAX where you can sit where you darn well please ... although the new complex has wide comfortable seating with alotta leg room.

OMFG! I just got back from seeing this about a half hour ago and I have to say it's fucking awesome! I will definetely be going to see it again. I wanted to see it on the IMAX screen but it was sold out for the day so I had to see it on a regular screen. I got my ticket and was told that the line-up was outside and I had seen the line-up so I thought no problem. The line wasn't that bad but then I saw that it was for the other regular Dark Knight screening. The screening I was seeing had it's line-up on the other side of the building and it was about 10 times longer. I did manage to get a good seat though.
Go see it! You won't regret it, trust me. I'll be going back to see it soon. Not today but soon.

I'm taking my kid brother and sister some time next week. I didn't want to see it without them, especially my brother, who's a big Batman fan, and even bigger Joker fan.

Saw it on Imax Saturday night with my fellow foot friend and it rocked literally... The entire thrater shook in certain parts but obviously i will not spoil it for anyone cause that would be fucked up.... But i am seeing it again on August 2nd with my son at Imax. I was hoping it would crush that stupid friggin tap dancing fool in Spiderman 3 but it still beat it for the record. They should have made a better making Spiderman 2 which was a great movie. But they definintely impressed me with the Dark Knight Chistopher Nolan, Christian Bale and Heath Ledger (RIP) were awesome.

YESSSSS!!!!!! And today was the day . Just left the IMAX cinema about a half hour ago. Had to get outta the central city before the end of work traffic kicked in. Or in that case would be home by September ...
All I gotta say about it is BRILLIANT... ABSOLUTLEY BRILLIANT!!!!! The whole movie fit together awesomely. Camera shots, angles, action, actors...etc. I wouldn't be suprized if Ledger wins an Oscar for his portrayal as "The Joker"... Definately deserves Academy nomination.
Definately gonna see it again via IMAX within' the next couple of weeks.

I got to see it the night before it was released to the general public (got awesome movie theater connections ). There were only three of us in there watching it and we were so hyped up in there clapping and making those excited male noises that I'm sure we looked like damn fools! But whatever it was so awesome that we started the projector right back up and watched it again. Yes, back to back! It wasn't Imax though so I'm definitely gonna check out the Imax version in a few weeks.
On a side note...did you guys notice how fast it went to #1 on imdb? Think it will stay there?
