Haha...I had seen that collection before, it`s really amusing...although I must admit that some of my old hardcore/punk/grindcore albums have even worse covers. For example, just check out the old Carcass album - "Symphonies of Sickness" http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/05/SymphoniesOfSickness.jpg

To my shame I own the two Scorpions albums.

My guess is the qualifications were that the album covers were trying NOT to be purposely bad. Any album by the band Cannibal Corpse for example would purposely be made to be really stupid and offensive. The others on here are just done because the artists and even the record company didn't have a clue.
My favorite ones are any of the family gospel ones. If Ned Flanders was to release an album his would've been modeled after one of those!

Oh my God, the Francisco y Fernando cover brings back so many memories from my early, EARLY childhood! Damn, I remember my mom and all my aunts and uncles dancing to that song at every single house party back in the 80s! Memories, wow....
