what about the ad for Tim Tebow's mother not gettin an abortion...bringing another political view to the table on Super Bowl Sunday...that ad does not belong there either!!

Tim Tebow's mom is simply stating that she was told that she should have an abortion and she chose not to. Her son turns out to be an incredible athelete throughout his college carreer and a good person at that. Its not like they are putting pictures of aborted fetuses on the ad.

they are turning a sporting event into a political bonanza...the Super Bowl commericals are to advertise goods not policies.

i personally think the ad is very offensive

why does the black guy have to be eating the chicken?

Politically driven ads should stay the fuck out of the Superbowl. Yes there is a crap load of people watching but now this just opens the door for every minority group(PETA,Libs,Dems, religious etc) to get on their soapbox and divide the people watching in the wrong way, the people watching should only be divided into cheering for either the Saints or the Colts.

It's free speech. Pro-choice people had the same option to ante up the 2.5 million for their own ad. The gay ad (if CBS had approved) would have been no different except it would have been from the other side of the aisle.

first off, the super bowl hasn't been about football for 25 years. you think 100 million people care about the colts/saints? NO!

its about corporations making headlines. and this one did. but had they aired it during the superbowl, it would have not gotten nearly as much attention, considering the leno/letterman ad is going to be getting the most attention.

these commercials are 30 seconds long. and your airing them to super drunk viewers. you think these people are going to remember all these ads? i mean honestly, for $3.1 million, you could air those same ads all year round.

its not about football, politics, or money. its about press. they re-air then 1000's of times in the news. all press is good press.
