I thought Phil did a good job of debating Bill. Bill has been known to pepper his guest with an offensive mind attack; this method puts the guest on the defensive right away and gives Bill the upperhand. Phil is a veteran of the game and understands you have to fight Bill with same energy he throws at you, but stay in control of your own emotions during the process. By calling him, Billie, Phil was telling Bill you don't intimidate me and I know your game. This is just like playing football; first, you have to menatally take your opponent out of their game plan and second, beat them down with serious action. Good job, Phil . Best counterattack of Bill I have seen.

Wow...have to respect both sides, but at the same time Mr. O' Reilly is notorious for being rude to his guests.

All Phil did was to make emotional appeals. Phil never addressed the situation as it is. O'Reilly even conceded that the war, at the time, was not the best idea.
Donahue went right to the "blame". History.
My suggestion is that we assess all the world's situations as they stand NOW. What can we do about it NOW? What are the implications for the future? Running away from the world's problems in which we are surely enmeshed will, in my opinion, lead to catastrophe.
By the way, "W" is only the worst American president since Clinton. Don't like either very much.

By the way, I'm not a political creature but I am willing to debate political notions...assume that I am, in most cases, a conservative; I'll let you know when you and I have no argument. People hate conservatism because they don't know what it is...and they are more "conservative" than they know.
