im not a rugby fan im a rugby league supporter. This world cup is a bit of a farce how many team in this world cup are going to be able to take it to the likes of Australia, new zealand, france, south africa, england, ireland. Come on how well do you guys honestly think the likes of the usa, japan, canada, portugal can even compete. Do you guys think iraq will have a team in the next one. The rugby league one next year will feature no where near as many teams but i bet it will be more competitive.

Yeah I see what you mean about other teams not havin' much of a chance USA, Japan, Canada....etc.. but is why theres a 4 year span... as they say "The sun shines on a dogs ass some days".... we maybe surprized [Eek!] ...

League? Just saw my team get beaten by the Eels (NRL) a couple of hours ago 12 - 10... Still in with a chance though to take out the premiership....

Back to UNION.... "WORLD CUP TOMORROW" [Woot] [Woot] [Woot]

World Cup has been intense and great to see countries that are not usually up there play with heart.... You hardly see that these days coz it's all technical, but those teams (eg. Portugal, Romainia etc..) takin' it back to the basics as how rugby was played in the 80s.... Luv those games.... Japan isn't too bad and there game play is quite good but it's just that their opponents are better... Awesome to see World Cup RUGBY THUS FAR......

i'm stil surprised the USA stayed with england for so long. and argentina beating france at the stade de france was a awesome way to kick it off.

Dayyyeeeemmm if you haven't already, you should see the replay of Sth Africa vs Tonga... Definately a game to remember and to me the best match so far in the competition....

Currently watching USA vs Samoa and it's half time 22 - 3 to the Samoans... Game's not too bad but it's a lil' slow as there are too many holes in the U.S's Defence.... See what happens in the second half....

What a nail-biter Fiji takin' out 6-Nations champions Wales... VERY CLOSE... you gotta check the replay... it was this game that determines who takes the second spot in their pool to go to the playoffs.... Fiji put on an excellent performance and deserve the spot in the quarters.. [Thumbs Up]

I played a simulation 2007 World Cup via "RUGBY 08" on Playtion 2... I was playin' as the ALL BLACKS and didn't win... I was commin' out of a weak pool and was so accustomed to the weaker teams when I hit the playoffs... the step up was so large I made it through the quarters barely and lost in the semi's to Australia...

If you look at the other pools, they've got quite a competition and ALL BLACKS(AB's) pool "C" is quite weak.... So.... I just hope the AB's manage to pull it off this year though I think this simulation I've played is not far from the truth.... Hmmmmmmmmm [Confused]

FOR FUCKS SAKE!!! The All Blacks were robbed... Can't turn back time, but the ref sucks ass... If you've watched the game, the ref was all one-sided....

im not a fan of union but i really wanted the aussies to pump the poms. Hey footlongsubzero trans tasman test is on next sunday in the league.New zealand have picked a strong side but i think the aussies will be too strong whats your thoughts?

Hey there Dazz, As you are more of a League fan I probably have the same passion for Union as you do for League & not as much into the other [Smile] ..

Well i've followed the Warriors through the NRL and was totally pissed-off of their sloppy play in the 1st round of the semi's and had a week to improve but seems the deal was exactly the same in their 'second life' match... I reckon Price is holding up the whole team & without him we'd probably be sitting ducks... I'll say BRING BACK STACEY JONES!!!!! [Big Grin]

Well this weeks Kiwi/Roo's test is hard for me to call at the mo' coz of a few retired veterans, an Injured Sonny-Bill and added rookies (who are quite impressive) but not sure if they've had enough game time for them to interlock (as like jigsaw pieces) and not too sure how they'll work together... I guess we're gonna have to find out this Sunday.... plus there seems to be alotta hype around wingers Folau and Tuiaki locking horns... I ain't missing this one...

I definately don't want Sth Africa winning the world cup as we have our own Tri-Nations and Super 14 competitions which will give their sprits a lil' nitros injection and may give them an edge BUT EVEN IF THEY DO LOOSE, they can say "AT LEAST WE'VE GOT THE WORLD CUP" [Nana] ...Hehehe [Big Grin]

fuck that. i have a funny feeling argentina may shock the world and win it all. Juan Martin Hernandez has been the man of the tourney for me.

England has just beaten France to go to the Grand final which was another nail-biter... Defence were pretty good both ways... and We'll see if Argentina has what it takes to take out Sth Africa tomorrow morn for their spot in the grand final......... coz I want Argentina to be the next World Champs.... See how this semi
game goes [Smile]

Well looks good for rugby this weekend...

There's the battle for the 3rd and 4th placing of the world cup Saturday Mornin'... Or shall I say Battle for supremecy [Big Grin] ... They were the very first match of the series with an upset to France as favorates bowing down to the Argentinians... or Argentines... This should be good...

We've got a National final on Satruday Night for the Air NZ Cup... Auckland vs Wellington...

And then the WORLD CUP GRAND FINAL!!!! I'm goin for England though Sth Africa are goin in as the favourites..... See which hemisphere the cup will spend the next 4 years....
