As an outsider looking in,could you explain to me the difference between the Rugby League and the Rugby Union.Are you talking England,Australia,New Zealand or what? Being from Canada the only time I get interested in Rugby is at World Cup time time,which I believe is next year if I'm not mistaken.

League is played in australia where i live its also played in most countries union is played in england,new zealand,wales,france,scotland,russia,ireland,usa,tonga,papua new geanea,fiji,.League has 13 on the field where as union has 15. league has no flankers on the scrums.Union also have line outs league doesnt need them.To get a good idea watch a game from australia the competion is the nrl(national rugby league)if you can get it on tv in canada i have heard that league gets some time on us tv.In my opinion the league players dont miss as many tackles as the union girls. they also hit harder and they dont kick the ball back and forwards to each other.And we have state of origen a three game representative series between new south wales and queensland watching an origen game is awesome there is a huge rivalry its brutal.Union in australia could only dream of coming close to origin foot ball any way check out this link ilovefeet www.nrl.com.au Posted by Adidas Sandal Fetish (Member # 15036) on :
Het Dazzz, I'm a Kiwi who lives in Sydney.
I love Rugby League, of course I support the warriors being a loyal Kiwi, hopefully they'll make the top eight next year, they would have this year but they lost 4 points for breaching the sallary cap.

yeah the salary cap scandal didnt help there cause. I live just outside of canberra so i go for the raiders they are going to smash the dogs.p.s give us back rubin wiki.

Him and Price are the reason we lost the 4 points in the first place, I hope they pay us back with a top four finish next season...by the way, I hope the Raiders smash the dogs as well, I hate those pricks.

I actually live in Sutherland Shire but I don't support the Dragons.
I would put my money on the Storm in the Grand Final.

yeah one of my best mates lives around there to. Its pretty hard to not say melbourne but if the dragons play well they could be there against them.

i live in america, so union is just about the only style played here. i catch league from time to time. i'm more of a national teams guy. i LOVE watching the tri-nations and six nations matches. and thank god the world cup is next year too.

Yeah league has tri nations too and a world cup in 2008.There is a comp in the us check out its web site www.amnrl.com In my personel opinion league has it all over union.
