Hello WU, Photo Guy here. Rivers is the guy in SD.Spanos who owns the Chargers is a fool. He made it clear that Rivers is the man. What I have heard is,if Denver fails to get past the first round and Fake Plummer doeas what Fake Plummer does best.Choke.Denver will make a strong push for Drew Bress.I better go now.I might get in trouble with the QUEEN for useing her forum.lol

I hadn't heard that. That would be quite a risk. You never know about these young QBs. The Chargers are contenders now. By getting rid of Brees, they would have to start all over again. It took Brees a few years to learn the game and the same has to happen for Rivers.

I know.But they PUT all their money into getting Rivers...Brees is a free Agent at the eng of the year..Rivers has a huge contract plus big signing bonus.This is the worst owner since Al Davis.lol

Wu, I honestly haven't followed the QB situation until just now. I picked the Charger's on a gut feeling, which may pay off very well if they continue to win.
It just made sense that once I moved away from San Diego, they would start winning. Since they have, I started paying a little more attention.
The only thing that comes to mind, and BELIEVE me, comes to mind of all San Diego fans is Ryan Leaf!
Spanos isn't the smartest owner in the NFL, but he know's what will happen if River's turns out to be another Leaf and Brees is gone.
Brees has finally started to play well and become comfortable with the offense. I think that he will want to stay and something will be worked out to keep him.
