The Gatorade bath is the GOAT win celebration. It's an institution. What kind of a question is this?

I don't really understand it myself...they do that after every win don't they?? Now I could see at the championship game or the end of a perfect season to "cool off" the coach..but EVERY game...seems a little too much. But then again so does dancing around in the endzone like a epiletic person on acid...

Real men dump Gatorade all over their coaches after big wins on the football field. It's man-law. Introduced by the great Bill Parcells and the '86 Giants way back when.
However, I think it should only be limited to big wins. Playoff-berth or division title clinching wins, conference titles, Super Bowls, and perhaps, for the team that's really bad, after their first win of the season. If the Lions had won one of their last couple of games, a Gatorade bath of the coach would have been acceptable.
In college, wins over archrivals qualify for the Gatorade bath, as well as bowl games and national titles.

When a head coach or someone else gets their head split open from a slipped cooler, then they will ban that stupidity.

I am with SOLEMAN - not into banning things, but com'mon let the coach have a cheerleader or something different. All it does is promote that shit.

the cheerleaders are off doing other shit at that point. plus, most coaches are married. so rather promote some kool-aid type shit OR get into shit with the wife???
