This site is dedicated to Admirers of Female Feet, and the main focus is high-arched female feet.
The female anatomy is a work of art. I appreciate the entire female anatomy. But I appreciate female feet the most, especially female feet with high arches.
If you think about it, curves and rounded objects appeal to most people. McDonalds arches are known internationally and the Gateway Arch in St. Louis is a national monument and attraction.
Female feet with high arches are beautiful and rare. The entertainment industry knows high-arched female feet are beautiful. Just look at movie covers for The Graduate, That Thing You Do, Stealing Beauty. Look at the music covers for certain compact discs and tapes. And have you noticed the huge amount of magazine covers and articles have female celebrities displaying their feet?
Some featured celebrities with high arches are Halle Berry, Faith Hill, Natalie Portman, Holly Robinson-Peete, Kristen Kreuk, Charlize Theron, and Tanja Mairhofer.
It is more than showing these women in a natural way, it is about recognizing that female feet can be as attractive as any other part of the female anatomy. There are millions of picture worthy female feet that are ignored.
According to a survey taken at the 2002 Ms. USA pageant, 75 percent of the contestants did not like their feet. Much of that thinking was perpetuated because feet are ignored and get a bad rap. Speaking of beauty pageants and contests, did you know there is such a thing as a World’s Most Beautiful Feet contest? There have been six of them so far. The 2003 winner was on Oprah. Guess what part of the foot Oprah asked her about? The arch. She wanted to know if her foot naturally arched the way it did.
Women buy closets full of shoes, buy toe rings and anklets, pay for pedicures, and buy sandals and flip flops. That is a lot of money being spent on these ignored parts of the body.
I decided to create a site dedicated to beautiful women with beautiful high-arched feet because these women deserved the attention.
It is unfair to you and a waste of your valuable time to have to visit a site to see if anything has changed since the last time you were there.
How often have you visited a site on Saturday and when you visited it Wednesday you saw "This site was last updated (Wednesday's date)" only to see the same material you saw Saturday?
That will not happen while you are a registered admirer at Planet of the Arches.
The site is no frills and down to the point.
I have taken three unheard of approaches to foot photography: DVD-like multi-angle shots, rotating shots, and captions for every picture on the site.
