Nice. Interesting that it's a shoe company that did this! I would have liked to have seen the feet of the girls interviewed, though!

The idea of it being some sort of difficult tribulation to spend a day without shoes is laughable to me.
I've spent hundreds, perhaps thousands, of days without shoes since I moved to Florida in 1997. I've taken up the lifestyle of a "barefooter" and gotten so used to being barefoot that it feels pretty unpleasant when I do have to wear shoes.
The children in these poor countries who go without shoes (the focus of the people who are trying to "see what it's like" to go a day without shoes) are unlikely to really have a problem with being shoeless. They would be far better off if we were raising awareness of their need for food, education, and medicine, rather than shoes.
