I would like to take this time to pay a special tribute to Marisa Miller and help celebrate the reasons of why she is the All-American girl, and why she is the Official Symbol of the American Female Class.

Our soldiers are still slogging away in the middle east, the economy has yet to fully recover, and people need to take a second job to make ends meet. But at least one key metric of national mojo is trending up: The All-American Girl is back in the National Fashionistas with a vengeance. In an age when supoermodels hailing from Russia, Brasil, and other far-flung locales have come to dominate the bombshell biz, Miller madness proves that the United States still produces the most gorgeous women on the planet. It is only fitting that she is the Offical Symbol of the American Female Class. How does this object of your obessions feel about carrying the torch of an entire nation? "To be in the position to represent America is a great compliment," she said with pride. In other words, it's Miller Time.
FIRST OFF, CONGRATS ON GETTING OFF TO THIS GREAT START! The women who are in the contest this year are amazing, so to be able to be on this hot streak is amazing and crazy. I'm not the one to walk around and strut like Miss Thing, so I'm pretty humbled.
HOW DID IT FEEL TO BEAT OUT NFCs AUDRINA PATRIDGE? I like how we talk about this like a sport!
OH, IT IS. Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder ... It's all subjective. I'm kind of shy about it, but I'll take it.
HOW HAVE FANS REACTED TO YOUR SUCCESSES? Everyone has been stoked for me, which is sweet. There's some creepy stuff, though -- stalkers and things. That's been a lesson, coming from a small, hippie-ish town where you can trust everyone. I realize I can't do that anymore.
WHAT WERE YOU LIKE IN HIGH SCHOOL? Very athletic. I played vollyball and basketball. Most of my friends were guys. I would wear big T-shirts and baggy sweatshirts that hid my body. I had no awareness of how I looked. On day in wood shop, I was wearing a tank top and my friend Jason was like, "Damn, Marisa, I didn't know you were hiding all that under there." I was like, What? I didn't know I had big boobs.
DID JASON MAKE A MOVE? I grew up with a scary dad who owns a construction company. He kept the guys away whether I wanted to or not.
THE MODELING WORLD MUST'VE BEEN A BIT OF A SHOCK. It was. I dabbled in modeling at 18, and I didn't like it. I was experiencing all the stereotypes about modeling and photographers, which I didn't want to deal with, so I quit and got a job managing a surf school. But somebody at a New York agency showed me a picture of me to Mario Testino, who came down to the beach to meet me while he was in town on a shoot. I had no idea he was such a big deal.
CARE TO KNOCK DOWN ANY STEREOTYPES ABOUT MODELS? THERE'S A COMMON PERCEPTION THAT THEY'RE ALL DITZES. So untrue. Look at the industry; some of the more intelligent businesswomen are models. To compete with the celebrities, you have to understand branding. Think about Cindy Crawford and Tyra Banks. They've built empires from a job that's basically ridiculous.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU'RE NOT MODELING? I surf a lot, and I love Led Zepplin and Guns 'n Roses.
DESPITE YOUR TASTE IN MUSIC, YOU SEEM LIKE A GOOD GIRL. I definitely like to have fun, but when I get a little crazy, I make sure it's done behind close doors.
I HEAR YOU TAKE UP SOME BOXING. I'm not a violent person, but it's been kind of eye-opening. It feels good to punch something.
EVER TAKE A BAD HIT? THAT'S YOUR CAREER ON THE LINE! I got hit in the lip, but luckily it was in the middle, so it was an even bump. My trainer knows what I do for a livivng.
IS THERE A HIERARCHY WHEN IT COMES TO THE VICTORIA'S SECRET ANGELS? Everyone has her thing, you know? Adriana Lima is the uber-sexy girl; Alessandra Ambrosio is the beautiful, fun, flirty one; and I'm the All-American girl. We all have our time to shine. There's no pecking order.
NOT EVEN A LITTLE HEALTHY COMPETITION? Sometimes with models, you definitely feel cattiness and immaturity, but I just ignore it. It comes from being insecure, new, or not knowing their place. If you give that girl a smile and a hug, all that goes away immediately.
SOUNDS VERY MATURE. SO HOW DO YOU PLAN ON GETTING RID OF HEIDI KLUM? Ha' Heidi is my big sister. I'm not getting rid of her, no way.
HOW DO YOU LIKE BEING KNOWN AS THE ALL-AMERICAN GIRL? I love it. I think in the '80s and early '90s, we had major American icons with Cindy Crawford, Christie Brinkley and Stephanie Seymour. Over the last 10-15 years we haven't really had that.
GIVEN AMERICA's REPUTATION, IT'S A TOUGH JOB. Well, hopefully I put a lighter spin to everything.
YOU HAVE A VERY HEALTHY ATTITUDE. Look, I know I'm in the entertainment business. If I can put a smile on someone's face, that's what it's all about. For people to take it too seriously is ridiculous.

All of this is AMAZING work, National. I really commend you for putting this excellent contest together and making this the spectacle that it has become. You give me new reasons every week as to why this is the only place in the entire forum where you can talk extensively about celebrities and look at amazing pictures.
That Marisa Miller piece was done in excellent shape. You really care about your girls. You try to market them as women who are beautiful in other ways, and not just about feet. This is what a celebrity forum should be about. You cover all the angles well. I have a much higher appreciation for Marisa Miller now after having looked at the pictures and seen that video.

The one match that really has me interested is that McCord versus Katy Perry match. THIS is what competition is all about. To see those two face each other -- especially when both are doing great -- is something that can only be seen in heaven. I'm pulling for McCord, but it wouldn't surprise me if Katy wins. She's been hot lately (well, she's been hot always, but in this contest she's put together some great wins) and AnnaLynne can give her a run for her money.

People, you have got to check out Kim Kardashian's pictures this week. I mean Charlize's pictures were pretty nice because she is very beautiful. I like her closeups, but Kim's pictures are far better than her's.

Scarlett against Jolie. This is an interesting match. Although it took me no more than a second to decide that I was gonna vote for Johansson, it is going to be interesting to see how the people vote in this one. They're both unpopular so now we'll see what the people do when they're forced to pick between one of those two. When the season started, I was convinced that Division I of the NFC was going to be the most competitive one. You had Scarlett and Beckinsale. Those two were winning match after match over the last two years. Now Scarlett can't win even if she can afford to have one. I'm starting not to like Beckinsale because I don't understand how she's still so popular while Scarlett is struggling all of a sudden. I'd figure Jolie would be popular and make her rivalry with Aniston get more intense. Instead, both have won a total combine ONE match as we enter Week 9. It's just unbelievable.
In Jessica Alba's case, she started off so strongly. She beat Kim and Lima in back to back weeks! How many women can say they've done that? Then Alba cooled off a bit and I fear that the voters will vote her off the face of the planet.

I'm liking these matches. Some pretty good ones. Of course when you have a contest that is full of hot women, you will get great matches every week. I'm still pulling for my favorite girl Jessica Simpson. I wonder who that other girl is in her pictures? She looks pretty good. I wouldn't mind sucking on her toes for hours. I think that other girl will improve Simpson's chances of winning. However, I also think Fergie's pictures are great. But I'm hoping for a Simpson win this week.
Audrina against Mendes is a Classic of the Week candidate. I think Mendes is looking better and I am also part of the group that thinks that despite how well she's done over the last few years, that she is underrated or not talked about much for whatever unknown reason.
Adriana and Kate is VERY interesting. I don't know how the people are gonna go with this one. I went with Lima because that girl is amazing. Her sex appeal is skyrocketing and her pictures this week really focuses on her feet. Kate has nice feet, too, but Lima is hotter overall.

Olivia Wilde has the week off this week. I will certainly miss her while she's gone. That means Jessica Alba will catch up to her this week because as much as I would like to see Alba as far behind as Olivia as possible, the reality is that that's not going to happen. She's gonna beat Ali Larter this week. Looks like Olivia is gonna have to come back next week and continue to work harder to and retake the lead in the standings of that division. This contest is so much like a chess match, I'm telling you.

Aside from Olivia, I do like Kim as well. Who doesn't? I, too, saw her pictures for this week and they are amazing as always. The first picture I wasn't too impressed with. However, the pictures after that REALLY caught my attention. That girl really knows how to play the part of getting our attention with her feet.
Ashley Tisdale is another tough break this week. As much as I her, I don't see how she's going to get past Miranda Kerr. I'm very impressed with how well she's done in this contest.
And I also enjoyed that piece National had on Marisa Miller. And he's right: I do feel more patriotic and proud of my country. A girl that hot posing for Harley Davidson? A perfect combination, if you ask me.

I know Adriana Lima is one of the hottest women in the world. But Kate Beckinsale is pretty nice as well. When it comes to feet, though, Kate is SO MUCH better. They're just about perfect in every way. If you compare those two women this week, you'll see what I mean.
When it comes to the rest of the body, my pick will lean towards Lima. When it comes to feet, my pick is Kate.

That piece on Marisa Miller was lovely and quite creative. It's funny how you twist things around to incorporate it into the contest. It's things like that interview and video clips that brings these women to life. This is the only celebrity place in the forum that has the specialty of doing that. I think it's also quite fitting that not only is she the head of the AFC, but that she also has the best record in that class. All the best storylines can be found in this contest.
Speaking of Miller, I also feel that she will be in the playoffs as the number 1 seed. Think about it. Jessica Alba and Olivia Wilde are going to cancel each other out. Carmen and Kim are going to continue on with their rivalry. Everyone in Division IV of the AFC (except for Emma Stone) will cancel each other out. That division is going to be all mumble jumbled by the time this season is done. That leaves Marisa Miller WIDE open. There's no one in her division who will pose as a threat to her. That gives her an easy road into the playoffs even if she loses a couple of matches. While other girls will smack each other around, Marisa will cruise into the playoffs as the number 1 seed, thus receiving an automatic bye in the first round.

You know, now that you say that, I'm starting to think that you're right. Marisa could actually wind up with the best record in the AFC. It certainly seems like that Marisa Miller is getting the most attention in the AFC even though she's not on this week. I can only imagine what would happen if when she's back next week? I'm hoping, though, for Jessica Alba to get into another hot streak -- like the one she had earlier in the season -- to get all the attention back to her. But in a class with Carmen, Kim, Kerr and the others, that will be tough to do.
Changing topics, I think Vanessa Hudgens is ugly. If anything, she should be on the cover of National Geographic where she's playing along with the chimpanzees. She's just a little girl like Ashley Tisdale. The difference is that Tisdale is actually very pretty with nice feet. I can't say the same about Vanessa. When this week started, I made wild guess and predicted that this was not going to be Vanessa's week. In this contest, this little girl is going up against MODELS. Ashley is pretty, but she, too, is going up against nothing but goddess. Tisdale was never going to stand out in a division where you have Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian running things.

It's me, the Drama Queen. You know, it's Spring, and love is in the air. My love for Paris Hilton is like soooooooooooooooooooooooo much stronger than ever. Because I know something the rest of you guys don't. I know of how beautiful Paris is. I know of how sexy Paris Hilton's beautiful feet are. And I KNOW just how much Nusuth likes Paris, too. Megan is going to break Carmen's record for most wins consecutive wins in the regular season this week. After seeing how Fox looked this week, I knew I wasn't going to vote for Dushku. Dushku seemed to be getting into a nice grove of wins lately but that's gonna come to a screeching halt this week by being the unlucky one to draw out Megan Fox for Week 9.

Thanks so much for the Marisa Miller segment. She truly is an All American and I truly feel that she deserves this championship more than anyone. Now, anyone who hasn't paid that much attention to her, will now.
And what I like about how that was done (the Marisa Miller interview, pictures and clip) was that it made you proud of being an American without having to talk about politics. All it was was a hot woman posing on Harley Davidson motorcycles. Those two go hand in hand.
After watching the clip, I went back to looking at the pictures because the video made the pictures mean that much more to me. To talk about the services that the men provide in the army speaks a great deal about how they are appreciated. That is all American. I Love it.
This piece on Miller turned out to be a lot better than I thought it would. Even thought non of Miller's pictures showed her feet in them, in this case it doesn't matter because we are giving notice to the beauty and hot appeal of Marisa Miller and how she is one of America's great representatives. She's the best representative for the AFC.

Some very close matches and we are almost done counting the votes for this week. National continues to provide everyone with great matches and pictures to die for. To have these matches be this tight elevates to drama and the hype that these women belong to face each other.

AnnaLynne lost by ONE VOTE? You've GOT to be kidding me! Really? This is so foul. I can't really believe this. I really can't. I mean I like Katy Perry, too. But to have McCord lose to Katy by a SINGLE vote makes it that much harder to accept because she was ALMOST able to beat her. To realize how close she was to beating her without actually doing it is devastating. It makes you feel like you have to start this thing all over again.
I need McCord to win her next two matches to make up for this one loss because this is a real setback for me. What a match that was. To see Katy Perry against McCord can only be presented by the heaven of the National Fashionistas. Unfortunately for me, AnnaLynne McCord was on the short end of the stick.

Week 9 is already in the books as we are starting to settle in the second-half of the regular season in The National Fashionistas. This is the time of year for those who had mediocre performances leading up to the start of this week to start shifting things into higher gears and become more aggressive to assert their spots for the playoff tournament that will ultimately decide who will don the Salvatore Ferragamo's and cherish the title of World's Sexiest Feet. This is the time of year where those mediocre women to start making statements that they should not be taken for granted and start to make a more serious push to contend for the playoffs. This time of the year is extremely sensitive for the so-so women because another loss or two can cost them the season. They are on the bubble and are in danger of bursting it. They're time to act is now.

BECKINSALE HAS EARNED HER WINGS
It's been said over the course of the years that this contest has been running that Kate Beckinsale is a consistent winner. She's arguably the best female to never win the World Championship. She's won at least 13 (of 16) matches in the last two regular seasons, and it looks as if she's on her way to win another 13 this year. She's made the semi finals twice. During the same stretch of time, Kate Beckinsale has won more matches against supermodels (whether they are current or former) than any other female in National Fashionistas history. In fact, she's 6-0 in her career against them.
So when the heading read that Beckinsale has earned her wings, it's a term models use when they compete to become a Victoria's Secret Angel. Even though Beckinsale is not a supermodel, you can say that she's definitely earned her wings by being this successful against women who are synonymous in the modeling agencies.
Women Who Kate Has Out-Modeled --
Gisele Bündchen (Twice in 2008) Cindy Crawford (Twice in 2009) Miranda Kerr (Week 4, 2010) Adriana Lima (Week 9, 2010)
Her win over Adriana Lima this week further demonstrates why she is The Modern Classic. These two would've faced each other in last year's Finals Classic had each one won her semi-finals match. Kate Beckinsale also shows that she cannot be overlooked in the NFC and that win over Lima is a message sent out to Audrina Patridge that she's not willing to give up the number 2 seed for the playoffs to get that first round bye. It's also a message to Megan Fox to let her know that she's coming for her and the number 1 seed for the NFC playoffs. When Megan Fox defeated Adriana Lima in Week 15 of last season, it was not by as big of a margin as Beckinsale just had with Lima.
A win like this over someone as hot as Lima is even hotter.

KATY PERRY VERY SCARY
She's kissed a girl and she liked it. She's beating these girls and she likes that, too.
After getting off to a lukewarm start this season, she has since gone a great roll and has become on of the more popular girls in this contest over the last few weeks. It's very scary for the other girls in the NFC to become witnesses to Katy's win streak and great momentum that follows her. Very scary because their wild card spots are becoming in jeopardy. Very scary for Audrina Patridge who had to put Katy back on her radar after her popularity went on an upswing with the voters last week. With that win last week, Audrina suddenly found Katy to be a game behind her for the division lead. Knowing how popular Katy is, I don't think her fans are going to have her settled for a wild card spot. Katy Perry is eying for a more important prize in winning her division over Patridge. And if Katy can somehow get past Audrina in the standings, she can find herself in the company of Megan Fox and Kate Beckinsale to contend for the top two seeds for the NFC playoffs.
Her match against McCord this week is a preview of what the fans can see in the playoffs. These two can run into each other again when the playoffs is playing its course.

Scarlett Johansson left us lovely notes of fancy impressions onto the men who adored her. Over the first two years, Scarlett has been a note of great class, a graceful appeal and an everlasting beauty. Now, those definitions take on a new meaning to see her finally win her first match of 2010. Her win shows that while Scarlett is gone in the eyes of most voters, she will never be forgotten and will forever remain in the hearts to the history of The Fashionistas.
While Scarlett is almost officially eliminated from winning her division, at least she can walk away from this season with the comfort of knowing that she has a following of supporters that will never abandon her even if the going gets tough.

She was introduced as one of the new girls in the National Fashionistas in last year's contest. Her first career win in Week 1 was against Eva Longoria. She has not looked back since and is now in a league of her own after defeating everyone who was put in her path. As if winning the last year's contest wasn't enough, Megan wants to stay perfect while she's in her quest to win another world championship.

I love how you keep records of just about everything that goes on throughout the history of your contest.
It's an amazing feat for any girl to win that many consecutive matches. To add those extra three wins that happened in the playoffs makes for the record even more impressive. I'm so glad to have been a part of this game long enough to have seen Megan Fox win all of these matches. This season is showing to be a bit tougher for Megan Fox, but she still gets enough supporters to pull off all these victories over other women who are considered the hottest in the world.
Having this contest makes me a bigger fan of Megan Fox then anything else in the world. This game has the same effect for people who are rooting for women other than Megan Fox. This is the only thing in the whole forum that can make you a bigger fan of your favorite celeb. All the storylines that comes along with this adds to the height and drama of what's going on with your girl.
For me, Megan Fox is the ultimate babe, able to destroy any girl in the WORLD.
