i can tellya this from experience in paying them. they make alot more than they should. it's just feet. that's what i try to tell people all the time. why make a big fuss or commotion over feet?
there are so many people i know who try to give it a big creep factor just because they associate it with sex or something like that. i prefer to just look at them as a bodypart and try not to prejudge from there.
it is mainstream's horrible impression of us that allows "foot models" to inflate the value of their feet because they automatically feel like it is something worthy of sensuality. as a result, they jack the price up, and as a result we jack up our weiners, Hee Hee!
don't make such a big deal over feet and i can guarantee these girls will take those prices wayyyy down.

It sounds, though, like you're trying to have it both ways, Tyler.
On one hand, you're saying that we shouldn't allow them to make a big deal out of it (which causes the price to go up).
On the other hand, if they weren't a "big deal" to us, we wouldn't be seeking them. To us, they are not "just another body part."
How about an example of a guy who likes to be whipped. Well, "mainstream" people don't enjoy the sensation of pain, and go out of their way to avoid it. So you'd think this guy could go and tell the woman that she should pay him to whip him. But that's not how it works, obviously.

...i pay alot, but it's very niche and, although I am only speaking for BFO, most of my models, it's just a one time deal. No idea what the other sites do, or how they compensate. I would say that JB pays the most.

Now you're on the right track. I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but the goal is to make your fetish intriguing enough to them so that they participate on their own accord, or for much less money than they might be led to percieve based on other people's price hikes.
The underlying perception that many foot guys give is that they are desperate for foot action and as a result, when women sense this, they pull back. In fact, when anyone senses our desperation it leads to them refraining from our past-times.
Do the opposite of what a desperate needy foot stool would do. Anyway, there is alot of further explaining to this and unfortunately there's probably a limit to the size of these posts, so I'll just highlight some important things to keep in mind.
I want to say you are on the right track. We can have our cake and eat it too. Yes feet are more than just a body part to us. However, if you reveal this fact to women too early on, it will hurt you more than it will benefit you.
This is particularly crucial in the realm of negotiations. It is basically like showing your opponent your hand in a game of poker. In regards to paying models for their feet and negotiating a price, you cannot give her more reason to inflate the value of what you are trying to purchase.
In essence, I'm kinda saying to downplay our whole foot desperation thing while still having that lick & sniff carnival in the back of your mind. Don't let her know what you're really thinkin -- she'll use it to her advantage, which means draining your wallet LOL

Think this has gotten a little off topic. I think the thread was about foot models, not prostitutes.
Depending on what you're doing in your sets, girls will be available for different rates. There are some girls who have tons of fun doing photos and don't really seek much. Then you have girls who do modeling as a job and need to make a living. Of course the footsex shoots will run more money as it isn't really about the foot aspect anymore, it's about the SEX in footsex.
In my dealings, I've approached many friends with what I feel is a reasonable offer and the girls are so happy to be asked and get a few extra bucks to do something so easy. I've also had girls, like above, who seek a certain rate. For what I do, if it isn't reasonable for me, I decline.
I have heard from some of the girls who do regular modeling that some photographers can be shady. Shit like that pisses me off. Yes, some models can be a pain to deal with too, but if you want her to pose, be up front about what you're looking for, what you feel comfortable paying. If she isn't interested, move along or try to make a deal. The photographers that get shady give the rest of us a bad name. And don't get me started on the ones that hire models for shoots just to try to get their own rocks off...

Well, as most of you know, I am pretty new to this scene. And I am no where near a professional model, this is really more of a hobby that I turned into a little extra income.
Anyway, I have really only had 3 months of income to report, but have averaged around 1500 a month in my pocket. Subtract the 700 dollars I paid for the video camera, and 400 dollars I spent for my camera. And there is also a lot of time spent posting content (it takes a fair amount of time uploading 500mb-1gb high def movies, and re-naming/going through 100+ picture photo shoots) If I didn't truely enjoy what I was doing I can't imagine it being worth the time I spend to share good quality content.
That being said, I do really enjoy what I do, and I incredibly enjoy the most time consuming part of the job: interacting with and answering all of the fans that contact me. So in the end it is just nice having some extra money at the end of the day to do something that is a whole lot of fun.

I think the reason why foot models charge more for foot sex or foot stuff is because it's more rare. Think about it, when you go visit adult video stores fetish videos are more expensive than "regular" porn. I still think foot models do overcharge though. What I hate the most is when foot models scam customers. They deserve to lose all their business.

This is often very true.
Ironically though, once in a while you might meet a girl who'd rather give a BJ or actually screw instead of pose her feet just because it takes less time.
Oddly enough this has happened in my history of working with foot models on more than one occasion. What strikes me hard today is that I am still in shock after having met a girl last night who actually got rude with me after ending our foot modeling session early cuz she felt like it was aggravating and taking forever.
All I had her do was flex her arches and wiggle her toes basically for the camera. I just recall her complaining several times as I was taking her back home and she was saying how she would've rather sucked a dick or actually had sex just to get it over with and get paid quicker.
I mean OMFG, I am still in shock over that mentality and all i had her do was pose her feet w/o me even touching them -- it was f'n insane.
So patrick is right that usually sexual stuff will command a higher price. But I have to say from my wide range of experience (with a rainbow spectrum of different foot models), sometimes there are girls who will look at the foot modeling as more burdensome than sex and they will either charge more or try to cut you short unless your provide more money.
There are things in this world that work ass backwards at times, and it has me scratching my head for days. This is one of them. Better luck to the rest of you guys.

There are sites where models can rate the photographer/producer and the shoots, whether or not they were inappropriate, etc. Usually the girls know where to get recommendations, etc. There will always be bad seeds anywhere. And yes, it does suck for the honest people who shoot with genuine passion, and not trying to fuck girls off camera.
I do pay more than average, because I have a full barefoot shoot and pantyhose shoot and I shoot video with everything.
I am also pretty anal, I have the models "growing their toenails out" for at least a month before the shoot. Even with all of that, I have never really had any complaints. The biggest issues with my foot modeling is the video, smelling and worshipping their feet on camera and them having to show their faces. <--those are amateur girls off of the street or run of the mill modeling site.
Now when I am shooting pornstars, like Sabina Leigh, Malicesyn, Taylor Milan, etc, they actually get depressed that you don't want them naked and inserting things up the wazoos. It really does depend on the girl. That is Fo Sho!
I think that the days of "overpricing" fetish stuff is pretty much a thing of the past. And if your a website owner and doing it, your leaving a ton of money on the table. Since most of them are "mom and pop" operations and some just simply cannot afford the time and effort it takes to make that ROI month to month. Quality sites of old like Natalie's Jungle, gates of eva and flirtyfeet... on and on. Forget Beautifulfeetonline, I would say that if you see stuff online and you dig it, please support it. Like the other website owners, who seem to be pretty cool people posting here on this thread. They are most likely working their asses off for the foot fetish community, out of love and their own sense of passion and thats pretty cool stuff imho.

Luckily I haven't found any girls yet that are mad that they are taking off only their shoes and socks and not sticking anything up their crotch. I say luckily because I enjoy the style of photography that I do. I don't do the adult material on my site, so if I had a model who gave me a hard time for showing her feet, it really wouldn't work out for me.

I got curious enough and went and looked at your site just now. Kara, I have to say, simply, there's not a part of you that doesn't rate super-high on the gorgeous-cute-tasty-delicious scale!
It's hard to pull off a "just-me-modeling" site, since I'm sure a lot of folks are looking for a wide variety of models, but you've got a good thing there. (Another pretty good one I remember was "Footgurl," but I think it's defunct.) I didn't join just this moment, but I know I'm bound to (probably in like one paycheck or so).
