So says the doorman-turned-husband of the "Heidi Klum of foot models" who's locked in a legal catfight with the management of her swanky upper East Side building.
"They're jealous that she's young and a model and able to live here in the building," Angel Rotger said Friday outside 340 E. 74th St.
Rotger married foot-and-hand model Christina Ambers in July, two years after their budding romance sent shockwaves through the hoity-toity building and cost him his job.
"She was scandalized by the building," he said. "She was abused."
Ambers and Rotger filed suit this week in Manhattan Supreme Court, charging that building staffers shun them by refusing to hail taxis or carry packages.
"There's a lot of discrimination here," Rotger said. "It's a very terrible place."
Ambers, who has appeared in ads for Coach, Revlon and Neutrogena, has lived in the building since 2003.
Her husband said he was warned by management soon after being hired that it would be in his "best interests" to steer clear of the brown-haired beauty.
"They said to stay away because she's crazy," Rotger said.
But the doorman swept the model off her feet and was fired within a week of moving in to her first-floor pad, he said.
The resentment boiled over in August, when the wife of the building super drunkenly clobbered him in the privates, Rotger said.
"I saw it coming," he said of the large brown sack that sent him to a hospital.

Hey, Man! Good to hear from you.
I was JUST thinking about that same story. I was on the bus earlier this evening when I oversaw someone reading the page with that photo on it. That's when I decided to buy me a copy of the paper.
When I first saw the words "foot model", I immediately started to think if she was someone who I ran across at the parties in the past? She wasn't, but what a story!
What DancingFool forgot to mention was that this story was on the FRONT page of that paper, and the front page of the God-Awful NY Post.

...And another thing: She's the HEIDI KLUM of foot models? Get the fuck outta here! HEIDI KLUM? Either Heidi Klum is not hot or they don't know how Heidi Klum looks like. Oh, my God, the Heidi Klum of foot models.
I'm going out in a few minutes to see what the night scene has got to offer. I'll bet you that within ten minutes, I will come across countless of women who are hotter than she is with hotter-looking feet.

Is the N.Y Post really that bad? Back in the early days (1998/99) they ran a story on my website, International Celebrity Feet which talked about feet in a positive light!

Yes, the Post is that bad. The paper can talk about foot fetishism in any positive way it wishes. My feelings remain that that paper is total garbage. A few years ago, I found out that one of the editors of that paper (I don't know if he still works for the Post) has a foot fetish. They even showed a picture of three women graduating from college sitting down with their feet propped up on the chairs in front of them. That was their way as their way to giving a shout out to that editor. How thoughtful!
That still didn't change my opinion on the paper. That publication is worthless.
