Why not start with your girlfriend? Take it slow with her by offering her a foot massage and take it from there.

And better yet, it's free. As I'm usually single, I tend to go the private session or foot party route to get my needs fulfilled. It's different for some guys. I feel totally fine with it, others like John Michaels above, are completely opposed to and uncomfortable doing that. Nothing wrong with either.
