I have read CJ's post about using your own avatar and posting direct pics instead of just the url's but,neither seems to work.I have tried posting the direct link for forums url but,it still appears as a url not the pic?. Also,i have uploaded the pic i want as my avatar and pasted the link into the appropriate section but,nothing happens,the pic doesn't appear in my avatar.Can someone help?.

hey bud i use photobucket.com for my avatar all the time it works great
when you upload the pic you wantto photobucket
copy the "Direct Link" go in to your "profile" click "Edit Profile" go down to "Select a different Avatar Image" click it fine "Use Custom URL" them go to photobucket copy the direct link of the pic you upload and paste it in by custon url then click set url then your pic will show at the top then click select this avatar then it will take you back to your profile and you go to the bottom and click update profile and you should have you avatar up hope this helps bud
