I know I've brought this subject up before, but I thought I'd revive it.
Have any of you ever thought about why you're attracted to women's feet? I have--several times! And I can think of no reason for it.
For me, it started around 9, or 10. There wasn't a single incident that caused it. I just looked at feet and said, "That's a pretty female body part." This was back in the early 70's, when girls went barefoot as part of the hippie look! Perhaps the fact that they went barefoot more often then caused me to develope the fetish.
And no, I was never attracted to my mom's feet! Some of my aunts and cousins, though.

I've thought of this many times too. What exactly is it that makes some become attracted to Feet while others do not? Not sure, but all I know is what started mine.

The seed was planted for me when about 7 years old. And it started with... Kermit the Frog... Yes, Kermit the Frog. LOL.

I was watching Sesame Street and there was a scene in which Kermit was talking and a human Foot came from above and stepped on his hand, he started yelling and struggling to get his hand from underneath the Foot. I remember getting a warm tingly feeling in the pit of my stomach as I looked at the Foot. Didn't know why, but that's how it started for me. LOL.

From there, as a kid, I went on to looking at and trying to get close to my uncle's wives' Feet while laying on the floor watching television, and looking at classmates Feet while they dangled their shoes or slipped their Feet in and out of their shoes, and Always being drawn to Women's Feet in magazines/catalogs etc.

As far as I know, I was born with it: Period. [Smile]

I've thought about this quite a bit over the years. I know my attraction began at an early age but I'm still not sure exactly what started it, although I suspect it was a woman who used to watch/babysit me when I was young.

I got mine from Sesame Street, too. My first distinct memory of feet was when The Count wanted to count Maria's toes, so he had her take off each of her socks to reveal her red painted toes. After that, I remember watching all of those skits on Sesame Street when barefoot women would just come out of nowhere and show their feet.

Naturally, I started staring at and liking feet. I got additional stimulation from the Avon lady who used to come over to my house to sell my mom cosmetics. I would constantly crawl through her legs and play with her feet. She would play back, squishing me between her legs and wiggling her toes.

Add in living in Hawaii for four years where there were nothing but hot feet EVERYWHERE, and you've got a certified foot fetishist right here. [Smile]

I never remember a time when I wasn't attracted to feet. Long before puberty even.

I think about it every day--I wish I knew--don't know why, no real reason to know--it wouldn't affect it one way or the other--but what I mostly want to know is not why I have loved looking at female feet, which I have loved I think since birth, but why did it take until the age of 19 to get into foot worship? It came to me out of the blue, I wasnt even with a girl--I was studying a history book on the Age of Enlightenment, and, slightly bored/horny in my studies, I suddenly jotted down these words as I imagined the taste of a girl's shiny, salty feet: 'PLAYFULLY DEVOUR A LOVER'S FOOT.' I was hooked right then and there. Before that, I neevr paid attention to how a girl's foot looked--not the surface, or how dirtyish it was, I just became mesmerized at the sight. From that moment on at 19, I paid attention to how dirty their foot was and imagined the ecstacy of how it tasted on my tongue.

Now if you excuse me, i have to go reminisce a bit...

I have given it much introspection, and have no idea.

I am more interested in the fact that years ago I managed to stop feeling strange about liking feet, and be happy about it.

Alot of people beat themselves up about, but I think that we are astounding fortunate, rather than cursed with some disability.

I am repeating myself here but can safely assume that many others haven't seen some of my other comments on the subject you raise.

I have always known that I found women's feet attractive, even sexy - even before I knew what sex was. I never thought of it as dirty or weird but knew that was, at best, uncommon. I have no guess at the origins of my attraction; it was always there.

My upbringing kept me mindful, even as a young tyke, of what was and wasn't appropriate social behavior so I never went around hugging feet or sniffing them or playing with shoes, etc.

What I can identify are the influences that firmly reinforced my sexualization of women's feet. Dumb as it may sound, old movies:

Long before cable TV (when television was actually free), there were very few channels available to watch; 3 to be exact - the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) were represented. The bulk of the programming, especially daytime, was left to the affiliates to fill in as they could. Saturdays and Sundays were especially sparse and they ran a lot of old movies from the 30's, 40's, & early 50's; whatever was cheap.

During the era that those movies were produced, the censorship laws were damn-near Puritanical. Directors were hard-pressed to express any kind of sexuality. Long story short (too late), directors found that women could be portrayed as sexually available or vulnerable if they were shown barefoot (you can still see this technique still used today...just watch a "Lifetime" movie). A great example would be the shower scene from "Psycho". By the way, any ad that targets women and wants to project the image of a comfortable woman - she'll be shown as barefoot.

Despite being a little kid, it didn't take me long to pick up that message and internalize it. I used to look forward to the "Saturday Matinee" on Channel 5, especially if the movie was going to be a "Swashbuckler" - guaranteed, there was going to be a barefoot gal (at least, one) in that flick!

So, your Honor, I was born with the seed but it was television that watered and nurtured it. I'm not to blame for my reprehensible perversion!

[Eek!] MARIA'S Toes!?!?!? I wish I had seen that one! LOL. I had a huge crush on Maria when I was a kid. [Cheers]

Any of you remember the PBS show ZOOM, from the early 70's? The kids on it, especially the girls, were barefooted quite a lot. It was a real thrill for me, growning up.
Also, LILLIAS YOGA. That chic was always barefooted!

I would have to say i was born with it too, I can remember as far back as five of liking nyloned feet before that would be too vague. But i do not know the reason but i can say that i love the look and feel of them the most. Barefoot women are just way sexy.

i tend not to think about why, because that can apply to any and everything, whether that be breasts, buts, legs, a type of activity, or even out of anything sexual to a type of drink or music preference. we know what we DO like about somethin and how it feels because our body and mind reacts in a positive way when exposed to it but we dont know why, and i dont think we ever will. Why do my taste buds wanna hurl at the thought of eating anything with marmite on when loads of others love it to pieces.

Probably sounds like it dont make sense but i dont think the word "why" applies to something you didnt create yourself or can simply switch on or off at will.

What the Hell is 'marmite'. [Confused]

It's a yeast extract, traditionally made in Ye Olde England. Tastes very savory/salty, I'm one of the people that loves it to bits. [Big Grin]

Vegamite is similar. I acually do like marmite!
