I've bought many used shoes from ebay, almost all have no or very little scent but I did get very lucky once. An auction caught my eye about 3 years ago, it was for a pair of well worn black loafers with a kind of brown cardboardy insole, size 3 UK. From the photos on the auction they looked well worn - could clearly see imprints on them.

I corresponded with the seller who turned out to be a very friendly, petite 21 year old redhead called Helen. She told me that since she was a little girl she had suffered from terribly smelly feet and she literally had to keep these shoes by her backdoor since they smelt so bad. She also said she had owned the shoes for about four years and had never worn socks or nylons with them, and she would continue wearing them barefoot until the day she sends them out. (I've heard all this before from sellers but as always this sales approach works on me [Tongue] )

So I won the auction and the parcel arrived in the post a few days later, I wasn't expecting much but when I unwrapped the shoes - well I nearly passed out. I've never in my life experienced shoes that smelt so strongly of feet, they were on my lap but it smelt as if I had my nosed buried in them! And when I did bury my nose in them it was nearly too much for me to handle - for me thats very unusual. I ran my finger along the stained insole, it felt almost greasy and it made my finger smell!

I managed to remove the insoles from the shoes without damaging them (bloodying my fingers in the process), wrapped them up in clingfilm and hid them in the bottom drawer of my bed to try to mask the smell!

A week or so later I went out with my girlfriend of the time, got a little drunk, came home had some more to drink and as I was giving her a foot massage on the sofa she passed out cold. Now as I said I was a little drunk so fear of being caught didn't cross my mind, I went through and got the smelly insoles from their hiding place and for a good 10 minutes I rubbed them up and down my sleeping girlfriend's bare soles. My girlfriend didn't have naturally smelly feet but after I had finished my 'alternative footrub' they stunk. And maybe for the next hour I licked and sucked her soles tasting the feet of another girl on there.
She slept through the whole thing.

I've since bought many many shoes off ebay but nothing has ever come close to those stinkbombs. Has anyone else ever lucked out?

Would never buy shoes, and would never rub some other insoles on my girlfriends feet. Appreciate what you have. To me, that's wishing you had someone else. Which is deceitful to that girl, which isn't very nice..

When I used to sell shoes for Hofheimer's, often women would wear their new shoes out of the store and leave their old ones behind for disposal.
Little did they know...

James,
I sell genuine ladies worn shoes, after having many bad experinces on e-bay and other websites selling fake footwear worn by men in some cases I started a crusade to sell shoes from my wife and her friends. I only sell ladies footwear that have been worn by women, it is harder to obtain pictures of their feet as many of my wife's friends do not know about this fetish but will willingly give her their worn shoes.

I just sold two pairs of office heels which were leather and worn barefoot in Turkey for the last three years the moulded sweat and toe-prints were real and the smell genuine. I crusade to sell genuine items that I would expect to buy myself and only ever are they genuine.

I always wonder if my shoes would retain their scent after being stuck in the mail room for a few days. I'd like to test out wearing a pair all day, to the gym, all over the place with bare feet, then sticking them right into a ziplock bag to keep in the "freshness".

Has anyone ever tried popping a pair in the microwave for a few seconds? Or propping them up near a heater to get that scent flowing again?

If you need a "freshness" monitor, let me know.

Never realized that ladies did that. Great way to get shoes.

Dude, I could tell you a few tricks of the trade.
For example; often women would come in and want a half pad put under the ball of the insole of the shoes because their feet were pushing forward in their high heels causing a gap at the heel.
Suffice it to say that I'd spen a few 'quality' moments with those shoes before taking them back out. [Evil Grin]
