How often do forum members catch sight of bare feet, or bare feet in sandals, in very cold weather? I dont mean in the house, but say, outside, for random girls, or even girls they know/co workers, etc?
I work with my mom, and most weeks, I drop her off to go to her weekly hair dresser appointment. I generally help her inside the hair salon, because she's elderly, and cant walk stairs easily. Both last week, and today, as I was helping her into the salon, I caught sight of this beautiful six foot tall hair stylist, Christi, who looks like Mandy Moore. It wasnt more than 30 degrees either day, with wind chills in the teens, both weeks. On both occasions, I noticed that Christi was wearing open toe sandal shoes, with no socks, which exposed her bare feet, and the feet were very exposed inside the sandals. This just seemed unusual, because of the extremely cold weather both weeks.
So, that's my post: I was just wondering if any forum members regularly catch sight of girls in sandals during cold weather, and if so, please post your sightings. Thanks.

In my business visits from sub-tropical Florida to the great frozen north (MD/VA) over the last several years- I noticed several women wearing sandals or open-toed shoes in the dead of winter. Not bunches- but I was surprised to see even the few I saw. And I love it!
One example was an administrative assistant in the office I visited- wearing open-toed sandals on day that was cold and snowing (and she didn't do the "wear boots to work then change into sexy shoes" thing either. I watched her walk to her car.
Another very cold day I saw a 20 something, with very nice looking feet, who had come to the mall wearing flip-flops. Winter coat, long pants, and flip-flops. I got a close look at her cold, beautiful feet while standing in line to check out.
An interesting phenomenon that's for sure!

Thanks for the response, feetluvr. I think both the girls you mentioned, as well as Christi, must be unaffected by cold weather. To me, even the idea of a girl wearing no socks or stockings, with closed toe shoes, would be a little adventurous on a day as cold as it was here today, but open toed sandals? That seemed almost primative, lol!

It's always debateable (we do it here a lot) as to whether it's intentional, accidental, are they just not thinking about it..etc, etc.
I've always been a sucker for girls walking barefoot in unusual or uncomfortable conditions (cold rain, mud, snow or hot asphalt). To me it's almost like the girl's making a sacrifice to show us her feet I guess. Very sensuous to me.
My favorite viewing of this type was two girls who got caught walking around barefoot when a severe hail storm struck. How sexy it was to watch these two girls walking back home barefoot through the ice and cold water.
In the case of the adm asst I mentioned before, I firmly believe that she intentionally did it for looks. She was a very attractive, trophy wife look' lady- and she new it. She was also very needy, as in needing attention, so anything she could do to "turn a guy's head" she did.
In the case of the other girl I think it was a case of:
1) she's just used to slipping on her flip-flops and heading out the door (and figuring that a quick trip running out she'll survive.
2) She's just clueless and doesn't pay any attention to the weather (although the fact that she dressed appropriately from the feet up seems to contradict that) or she just has really tough feet or
3)She has a foot fetish and likes to experience the cold on her feet or really wants to show them off or get attention.

I've seen several girls on campus wearing flip-flops when the temperature is in the 30s or lower. There's a girl in one of my classes that has worn flip-flops every day since the semester began. Unfortunately, her feet aren't that great. (and I'm not very picky!)

A couple weeks ago, I was leaving Lifetime Fitness and there was a cute girl (in her 20's) also leaving and she was wearing a light jacket, blue jeans and flip-flops. The weather that night, 2 degrees with a wind chill of -10. I was thinking to myself, is she that crazy or does she not have regular winter clothing? It just boggles my mind that these girls have no sense of where they live.

It is freezing where I am, I have seen one girl wearing flip flops. There is a teacher who wears birkenstock- which for me is a foot feish NO. (As for the flip flop girl it leads to good conversation- such as you're feet aren't cold in this weather?) Most girls in this weather are wearing ugg boots. I have seen girls wearing slippers the thin kind with no socks. when I'm lucky a girl will slip her feet out of them.

I envy you, AndyUK. Here in the "Snow Belt", it would be a 10,000,000,000,000 to 1 shot to have it happen. Some winters in which we get little snow it does happen from time to time (usually it is the women that really should keep their feet from public view).
Fortunately, the barmaid at the bar where I play pool always wears flip-flops while working; she is very attractive and has feet to match. Given the amount of snow we've had this year, I have to believe she changes footwear. It's one thing to wear sandals in cold weather on dry pavement but it's another thing altogether when the snow is knee to waist deep.
My disposition is improving with the knowledge that warmer weather is coming and the feet will be bustin' out along with the Spring flowers.
