This cartoon appeared in a 1969 issue of Playboy magazine (the July issue, to be exact): A man is worshipping the foot of a platinum blond. The girl is thinking to herself, "After all, who REALLY knows for sure what's normal, and what isn't normal. . . " I think that's an interesting comment on foot fetishism, from that period.

Wow, very interesting find there....I don't think you'd see a cartoon like that nearly 40 years later talking about normalcy with a foot fetish. I'd love to see that comic somehow...

Is it "normal" for an old 80 year old sot like that to be with the young woman that's depicted ? Sorry, but whatever message you all perceive, escapes me.

Very profound...a classic, indeed. Posted by feetluvr (Member # 1570) on :
Great toon! I'd say that "expanding folk's sexual horizons and attitudes" has probably always been some part of Playboy's philosphy.

The message I got from it is "While some people think that loving feet is abnormal, who are they to judge?"

On the surface, maybe; but I still think that the implication of the toon was that the old guy was/might be a perv..

To paraphrase Lawrence of Arabia, "Of course he's a perv. The trick is not minding that he's a perv."
