I really can't stand the term "foot worship". It sounds so submissive to me. Submisive being the opposite of dominant which could be synonym for manly lol. Anyway is the foot fetish inherently a submissive thing?I see guys doing the trample, mistress slave thing and thats cool for them but I wonder....is my love of feet just a milder form of that? Does anyone else feel this way? Like it's putting women on a pedestal? Which women will say they love...but they secretly hate. Exactly why the nice guy finishes last. What are your thoughts? Experiences?

I sort of feel the same way as you, but I personally don't have a problem with the term "foot worship". However, I most definitely am not submissive, if anything, I tend to be the assertive one in intimate situations, especially when it involves a woman's feet.

My thoughts and experiences are that you are exactly right in your statements.

That is why I try to switch hit on all sides of the spectrum (ie dominant vs submissive & in-between) but women do look down on me as a sick needy freak when I try the whole worship thing.

Most women will think of it that way in the back of their minds, but some are just outright bold like this recent friend of mine who had no problems calling me out as a weirdo:

submissive, ah.. I love it. I hate being dominant. (I'm male, and very manly) but I hate when people boss around females. It's fucking stupid. So, yeah, I like when the lady starts anything, because that way, we all know she is the one who wants whatever she does.

I never was into foot worship. I don't like being told what to do nor do I tell others what to do. I'm head strong and fair minded all at the same time.

Aside from that, I love having soles sit flat on my face because I love the way her silky smooth soles feel and the scent that goes with it. It's like a drug that has nothing to do with pretending to be the ground she walks on, if that makes any sense.

It can be either a sub or dom term. I don't make a judgment on it until I see/hear the circumstances.

When someone says "foot worship," I always picture a guy kneeling before a girl and praying to her feet, like they'll get him into heaven. [Laugh]

I postulate that what everyone actually wants is a struggle for dominance that they ultimately win.

GQguy: I agree 99.9% of what you're saying. The only statement I don't completely agree with is, in reference to the woman's perspective to foot worship, "Which women will say they love...but they secretly hate". Only because I know of women who do enjoy it, and can be genuinely sexually aroused by it.

But onto the main point. I don't necessarily think of my foot fetish as a dominant or submissive activity. I can role play either way, but mostly it's for the pleasure of it (mine, and preferably hers too). "Foot worship" is pleasing to me for what it's worth, not necessarily for the psychology of being diminant or submissive.

So if the term "foot worship" doesn't fit, what would be a better term to describe it?

totally agree but lets be honest a lot of foot guys are submissive and like to be dominated

alphas like myself are rare in the foot community [Wink] [Big Grin]

I agree that the term "foot worship" does come with the cannotation of the woman being dominant and the male submissive, as if the guy is "not worthy enough" to do anything else but suck on a woman's toes, lick her feet, etc.. It seems that anything dealing with feet and paying attention to them is somehow associated with the whole submissive role, which, although may be true for some, is not a hard and fast rule when it comes to everyone who like women's feet (i.e. everyone who likes women's feet is submissive and, therefore, the woman takes on the dominant role). While some guys are submissive, not all guys into women's feet are. I really dislike the way most people will pigeon-hole the whole foot love thing as being submissive. I, for one, like to be dominant when it comes to my actions, even when it comes to enjoying a woman's feet. By dominant, I don't mean bossing females around either. By dominant, I mean being true to my wants and desires, being confident and up front with them and being strong-willed enough to take action in the situation to make them happen, rather than being timid, not stating my desires either through words or actions, and hoping that the woman I'm with miraculously reads my mind and understands what I want.

Although some women may indeed like to be in a more dominant position to guys, from my experience, women enjoy being led by guys far more than they like leading. While I know there are exceptions to the rule, this has been my experience and I know this, also, is not a hard and fast rule.

I am the complete opposite of submissive, so I see your point.

There certainly is a better word out there than worship. Worship sounds potentially obsessive.

i think that is true, and generally beta males have higher chances of being perceived as sniveling or creepy when all other things are put aside and rated equally against their alpha male counterparts (just on that "outgoing-ness" tendency alone).

it may be part of the reason why the fetish in general gives off a creepy vibe to the normal people [Wink]

I don't know whether i would consider myself dominate or submissive when it comes to a girls feet. I enjoy a girl to make the move, and tell me what she enjoys and what she wants me to do to her feet, but at the same time, they are all usually things i've discussed with her about what i enjoy doing with her feet. I just enjoy hearing her say it and tell me to do it. I do enjoy being tied up, and sometimes i guess what you'd called dominated or forced to suck her toes, or lick her feet/smell them. But i don't really see it as her being entirely dominate, since i've asked for it.

And i don't agree about the "only being good enough for her feet" bit. Though i enjoy that attitude from a girl sometimes, i don't enjoy having to spend more time on her feet than i want to and i have my limits with everything. So i would say i enjoy being in control of the action going on, but at the same time, only so in control by having let her know my interests and likes. So she's doing what i like because i like it, because i said so, and it turns me on. I dunno what i'd consider myself.

I myself am an "Alpha-male," but when it comes to women's feet, I am weak. In all other aspects of my life I am assertive, but soft, pretty feet have some kind of power over me, so I guess feet tend to make me somewhat submissive.

Posted by DaBootman (Member # 1280) on :

I think the power that feet hold over most of us males is that we feel so out of place; our foot fetish seems weird to so many people that we feel once we have a girl that accepts it, that's how we'll get it so we protect it/do what ever we can to keep it/cherish it, that we'll be dominated in order to get that, etc. While some of us enjoy being dominated entirely, some of us like myself, at times enjoy role play.

For those of us who aren't so shy and don't give two fucks about what people think of us, or whether or not the girl's into our fetish, or will accept it, we just move on and go to the next girl...we're not to accepting of the dominate roll the woman plays in our foot fetish. My girl loves her feet to death, and for damn good reason (i say this because it's true, not because they're the only ones i can get, haha trust me, i've had my hands on and could still now have my hands on plenty of girls feet, i have that good reputation) she's got some of the most perfect feet i've ever experienced. Though she seems to think it's one of the key (i.e. I can't find another girl with perfect feet as hers) factors of us being together. (she thinks i can't find another girl accepting of, or if so accepting with the same nice feet she has, which is ok with me, i will never find the SAME pair of feet, better may be hard, but not impossible, and i don't hold myself to sexual desire in a relationship.) I think it just depends on the type of guy you are, whether or not you've enjoyed multiple pairs of feet, or limited pairs of feet. Your age, and what you're willing to do to get those feet. And mainly preference. Some of us play the dominate, some of us play the dominated, i think it all ties into the bringing up of a person *how you were raised* and your own mindset.

Who knows, molson's talkin now. Woohooo

No, i have no inherent desire to be dominated. Frankly, it annoys me. I don't really like trample/dom pictures and even videos where the woman is doing the whole "lick my toes, slaveboy" bullshit. For instance, britney, hot feet, can't watch your videos with the sound on.

Posted by DaBootman (Member # 1280) on :

Yeah, CS, i don't care much for the whole "slave boy" and name calling shit, that's pretty annoying. Even if just in role play, in my world you don't call people anything. I do enjoy being told what a girl likes done to ANYTHING and requests/demands if in the right tone are a turn on, being called names is not a big turn on.

But the idea of being at a person's feet, especially a woman's is probably viewed as being dominated/her being dominate in the situation seein as the feet have been and probably will be looked upon as a "dirty" part of the body and the part that meets the ground (obviously) and the difference in elevation that the feet are to the rest of the body (right on the ground) and being low to the ground makin somebody submissive, what ever. The whole groveling at the feet, etc, and so on. I dunno, I'm gonna go now. Lol

Why are guys so scared to be dominated? Are you not comfortable with your sexuality..or..manhood. It's pretty funny.

A general response to a general statement. Because being dominated is not in our nature as men. Some guys like it. Actually alot of guys with foot fetishes do like being dominated. Myself...no. And the women I date/hook up with don't find the submissive thing attractive either.
If I can make another general statement. I bet that the guys that say they aren't submissive actually meet women and "get feet" as opposed to the submissive types that only speak about it in hypothetical terms. Hmmm. I've never met a woman that said "he worships the ground I walk on in every way, i'm so turned on". However I have heard " he tossed me on the bed, pulled my hair firmly and fvcked me and i've never been so turned on in my life". Something to think about.

Scared, no, i simply don't prefer it or have any inherent desire to be dominated, or more precisely, denigrated, during sex. If the woman I'm with knows what she wants and is aggressive about getting it, no problems here, but that's not domination.

I also agree with GQ, genetics and hormones predispose the sexes to different roles. Frankly, I'm fine with the one nature has assigned. Also, i don't think most women prefer submissive guys.

Well Oink Oink baby! lol. I'm just joking, but that was the first thing that came to mind. No one said anything about not cherishing women or even disrespecting them. But in the end women are just women. Not godesses not mistresses or doms. But to each thier own. Most women don't like being dominant but some do. But i'll bet my life that for every dom out there, with guys paying to lick her feet...is a badboy ravishing her every night. And she loves it! Have you ever thought about who these women date and fall in love with? Think about it. She might say "I like nice guys" but who does she date?
Ideally I think there needs to be a ying to the yang when it comes to foreplay and sex. Foot worship followed by uninhibited sex is a good mix of submissiveness and dominance. Miss out on the good sex part and you'll lose your girl to a guy that will give to her...sooner or later. I think that is the thing I appreciate most about women....is the numerous facets they have. To go from sweet little girl to beautiful woman, to child bearer, to vixen, innocent woman to sexy lady. They require a soft touch some times but prefer to roughed up at other times. They keep things interesting. And as man in her life, i'll take her cues and lead her to where she wants to go. Even though i'm leading...she's in control. You see, she has the power to stop our progression at any point. She can object. The cassanovas of the world can judge a woman through many cues she gives to deliver what she needs.

You know I completely agree with you there. The funny thing with me though, is that when I found this out, I completely lost interest in them.

It's weird. Having them on a pedestal is what made them kind of attractive to me I guess. But now I just see humans as equally flawed as me. Now there's not really anything for me to be attracted to.

Except feet LOL. But then, they're just something I can appreciate from a distance.

Whenever I see the subject line for the thread that says " Introducing the new Goddess etc. " I keep on scrolling. No offense to the girl that is in the pics but it just doesnt turn me on to see a "foot goddess" or "foot mistress". Being dominated is not a turn on whatsoever to me..in fact a turn off...being called worthless or slaveboy etc is some peoples cup of tea but not mine. So therefore instead of trolling into the thread I just keep on scrolling down...I'm on another forum and thats all I see...trolls everywheres!
Not to turn this into a rant about trolls! [Tongue]

I've used the term "foot love." "Foot sex" could be another alternative to those who object to the term or concept of "foot worship."

I prefer the term foot admiration, but if a beautiful woman smiles and tells me to worship at her feet, I shall not quibble over terminology. I would guess most foot lovers tend to the submissive role, inwhich the female is dominant and revered, which is not to imply that most foot lovers want to be physically abused by their female partner. I offer no apology for my deep revernce of beautiful women with beautiful foots, But a real man in the real world needs to know that there is a time to give her a luxurious foot massage, and a time to wrestle a crocodile for her. On this forum you will find a wide spectrum of sensual attitudes.

Very well said, GQ! That's exactly what it's about. Women who advertise themselves as a "mistress" or a "goddess" and the like are still "getting it" from other guys and they're not "getting off" by dominating other guys as much as one might think.

I think that's one mistake most guys make due to their upbringing and what we're told by our moms with being, as feeties put it, "anti-pig", trying to be a "nice guy", putting women on pedestals, etc.. I think what some guys don't realize is that they can express what their desires are to women and still get what they want, as long as they're confident with who they are and make women comfortable being around them. It isn't about putting women on pedestals, just like it's not about disrespecting them and/or treating them like crap. Women are people and they have their wants and desires just like guys do. However, the difference is that women's brains are "wired" differently than the brains of males and it's important to know what those differences are and use that to play up a guy's strengths that women inherently look for to make them more attractive in the eyes of women. Once a woman is attracted to a guy, it's very difficult for her to resist that attraction and there's not much she can do about it. She will accept a lot from a guy as long as the guy is strong and confident with who he is and doesn't come off as a needy wuss. Being considered "submissive" to a woman is not an attractive quality to most women. That may work for awhile for some women but, ultimately, she will find someone else who will fill that missing quality or part that's lacking that she's not getting from a submissive guy.
