My girlfriend knows about my foot fetish and is totally cool with it. She paints her nails red and loves to show off her toes in public. I've asked her a few times if she would like a French pedicure and she says no and thinks that they're really trashy. I love French pedicures and think they're really elegant. She has olive skin and a lot of girls with her skin color get French pedicures because they look so good on them.
What do you guys and girls think? Trashy or elegant?

i think they look nice, but not all girls can pull it off i think but that's just me. calling them trashy i don't get, but it's up to her really.

In my experience, it's been difficult to get women to do things like that. You might just have to get another girlfriend. By the way, your girlfriend and I are exact opposites, in that I feel the same way about red polish that she does about French pedicures.

I totally agree with you. I think they look very elegant ESPECIALLY on women with dark complections.

Robertjames, I have to agree with your thoughts on them and I think French Pedicures are rather classy. French Peds really make the toes look cleanly, and similar to what feetluvr states, I feel French Peds look better on women with tanned skin.

She just knows someone she thinks is trashy that has gets french pedicures. I personally think they look classy. They're expensive relative to the cost of a bottle of red polish.

I don't like French pedicures, but I don't think they are trashy, either.
My wife won't wear an anklet because she thinks they are trashy, but since she does every other thing I like I have dropped the subject years ago.
I would be quite happy with red toes...count your blessings

It only works if the toenails aren't trimmed too short. In fact that should be a rule: Don't trim your toenails too short unless you're a dude.

^ I second that no female nails should be trimmed; I find it disgustingly masculine looking too.
Anyway, I find the exact opposite of what your g/f says. The painted nails (especially the red reds) to me are trashy, but trashy in a mega-hot way. And I agree with the other posters that said the french is the classy pedicure- I've always looked at 'em in that way- more of a pure beauty (depending on the particular girl's feet, of course) rather than the f%ck-me-and-suck-my-toes hotness of certain colors.

I personally think the french pedicure makes girl's toe nails look long..probably just me thinking that because when there is a pic posted here with a french pedicure on the nails people fall over each other to compliment on them.
