Two quick questions.

1) How many of you would buy a game that has heavy foot fetish/other fetish content in it online?

2) How many of you would be interested in the challenge of creating such a game?

Please answer both questions in a response. More information to come.

I'd go for both... strongly

I think I know what thread this question was inspired by.

As a veteran gamer myself, I find that the one thing above all else that attracts me to a game is the story. A good story to me can sometimes cancel out less than stellar gameplay and less than stellar graphics. So in that regard, I would be curious as to how a foot fetish-themed game could be pulled off in the context of an engaging story.

Let me answer the second question. I'm not very knowledgeable in design and most things with computer, so unless I was able to purely work on the story and plot of a game while other people worked on the technical aspects, I probably wouldn't be all that interested.

I suppose I'd have to see the game first before I'd think about buying it. If all it had was just foot fetish stuff, then I'd probably say no. But, as I mentioned above, if it was well-done within an engaging plot, it would definitely pique my interest.

I might let you use my feet for the game, but I don't know how to make one.

I don't get the point of the video game. Aren't games supposed to take you somewhere you can't go in real life? Halo 2 , Madden Mario is all fantasy, and the things they do are out of the realm of reality. Meeting a girl and getting intimate is pefectly within everyones reach. People just have to get off of thier butts and embrace the worid. The foot fetish video game is like a video game for sex, why would one waste their time inside playing the game when they could be out finding partners and meeting people.
So I guess my answer would be no to both.

Truth is not everybody goes out to find "that perfect someone." Also, not everybody does the same thing in regards to finding that person. I know I didn't for a while. I was shy, that has since changed, but I still consider myself introverted.

Besides, when you play games like Leisure Suit Larry, it's still fantasy. Just like the porn business.

I believe this game is going to take a lot of different skills from a lot of different people, including those who might want to test the game when it gets to be completed.

I plan on learning any technical skills that I might need in order to program the game, but I don't have a solid story line plot or an idea on what kind of graphics to use (i.e., more cartoonish vs. more realistic). Also, I don't have the skills to put the graphics together. I figured that I might be able to find the other skills that I needed with people who might actually be interested in such a game here on Wu's. Hate to use you all like this. That's why I was looking for interest. I have an idea on how those who are interested to keep in contact through the entirety of the project.

Yes to the first, no to the second. Simply because I'd not trained in computer software creation!
How good would the graphics be?

Depends upon what we come up with for a plot line. Some type of graphics that fit the story, that's for sure. We aren't going to do SNES bit graphics for something with more serious overtones, if that gives you an idea.
