One of my best friends for several years going back to high school, who also has a foot fetish like I do, found out that I had a foot fetish too about a year and a half ago, and despite still being good friends we NEVER ever discuss it, only on the first night when I told him we talked about it. I don't understand why, I mean we invest a lot of trust in each other and can talk about stuff to each other, but feet never come up and I don't know why.

Maybe he's embarassed to talk about it--even with a guy friend who understands. Why don't you share things with him. Give him photos of barefoot girls, for instance.

He's a real outgoing guy - much more than I am - but I think he may be embarassed to talk about it as he said for me to stick up with him when it comes up. On another note, I didn't mention it came up with his roomates one time, and I confessed it with absolutely no hesitation (wouldn't have been possible without you guys). I actually did get him a foot porno once as a gift prior to revealing my fetish. On yet another note, it becomes complicated because his sister played a part in me being more open about it - I have shared those here years back, simple experiences with her were what drew me to joining Wu's.

my thoughts... don't sweat it.
I appreciate a lot more than just feet on a woman (as many here do).. but with guys.. i don't talk about waht I like to see on a woman.. and the few times i did.. was more to avoid looking like i wasn't interested at all.
i rather do something about it than talk about it with guys. now.. talking with gals about it.. fine.. usually means i've got a shot at her feet. however.. as a rule... i don't talk to guys about women's bodies.
i love a cute butt... one of my bros and a few pals of mines are huge butt fans. won't catch me doing any chatting about it. (although the above exception was used). love great legs too.. (same rule as above). i love my fiance's breast just like any other breast man.. won't talk about it other than with her.
if your pal is like me.. it's nothing personal.. just a way of living. that's all. don't read much into it at all.

I think RPM makes a really good point. Unless it's the typical "locker room" kind of talk, guys in general really don't elaborate on their likes and preferences all that much, especially if it comes to something so specific as a part of a woman's body.
Also, just like RPM, I'd much rather prefer talking about women's feet with women rather than with men. Chances are that if I haven't had a particular woman's feet in my hands yet and she can feel comfortable enough to talk about her feet to me, then there's a pretty good chance that I'll be able to at least give her a foot massage at some point in the not too distant future.
