the other day i was on my way to work, it was cold, 8.15am, i went down a street in the town where i lived and i saw this girl, about early 20's walking barefoot down the street, it looked like she had been out all night, she had a flowing dress on and a dressy scraf, she was turning some heads, the ground underneath would have been freezing!, good on her though, was good to see!, and unexpected

You should have talked with her. Maybe said something like, "Isn't it too cold to go barefooted?"

Take it from me, I remember every single spot where I've ever seen a barefoot while in public girl in my life. And yes, futile as it is, every time I pass those spots I will ALWAYS look to see if the girl is there again. I'm not dumb enough to think I'll see her again, it's just habit.
