Unfortunately, the good old fashioned "mom & pop" type of websites that offered pretty female feet content just for the sake of offering it, sadly, have mostly disappeared. The botton line is that it costs money to run and maintain a website and to offer good, quality content. To offer and maintain that quality, I think most people have to go out and higher models and pay them for their time, which doesn't come cheap. I do realize that there are exceptions to the rule out there (i.e. websites dedicated to the feet of one's significant other or wife, etc.). Still, it takes time, effort and money to keep these sites going.
With the way the internet has become commercialized in the last 5 to 10 years, it's very rare to have a foot fetish website that offers pictures of women's feet without any expectations of monetary compensation. In my opinion, I think that there are those out there who have jumped on the bandwagon of creating a website, and not just foot fetish oriented, for the hopes/expectations of making phenomenal money off of it in a short time. As a result of this "get rich quick" mentality, I think the online market (i.e. adult entertainment, porn sites, etc.) in general has become oversaturated. To me, it seems that for every one foot fetish website that folds these days, there are three or four or more new ones starting up. I'm not inferring that every person who wants to start a foot fetish website is looking to make a quick buck. However, I'm sure there is a percentage of people who think that's possible. The reality though is that there are just way too many choices out there for everyone to take in and people can only sign up to become members of only so many websites.
The pay sites, at least those that are making a profit, do have some leverage over those whose sites are free. They can probably get newer content online quicker, since they can hire more models, get better equipment, buy more webspace to host their site, advertise more online, etc.. This means more updates in a shorter amount of time, while those who have websites that are free can be limited to only deliver to their website only what's within their financial means at the time. People are more inclined to at least try out pay websites, which may update once or twice a week, rather than stick with the avid foot person who just does their picture taking and updating as a hobby, updating their website maybe a couple of times a month. In today's fast paced world, people get bored pretty easily in spite of everything that's available to them. They want to be entertained and always want something different. What may be a great thing today is the ho-hum average tomorrow.
I do miss the days of yesteryear and the people who took it upon themselves just to start a website online dedicated to posting lovely pictures of women's feet because they just simply loved doing it. Sadly, business and the almighty dollar have forced them out of the marketplace, for the most part, because they just can't/couldn't compete.
