i have been thinking of late about setting up a website ( Foot based )What kind of things should you avoid etc. Should you make it profit based, Or a free site ! What do YOU want in a website? Why do YOU want to start one? What are your objectives?
Free -vs- Pay: Do you want to make money from it? Or would it be just for fun and/or personal satisfaction? Just keep in mind that you have to buy a domain name, and you have to rent web space.
Models/Material: You can place an ad looking for models. You can ask friends to model for you. Be prepared to offer some sort of compensation for their time and willingness to participate.
Take a look at some websites as a reference. Look for what you think is a good website and get some ideas. It's not easy to run and maintain a website, but it is fun if that's what you like to do.
There's always the option of starting a Yahoo group. They're free and easy to maintain for beginners.
