Friday night (early afternoon in California) I was watching the Indian Wells tennis semifinal between Martina Hingis and Maria Sharapova. She was playing great and soundly beating Martina.At one stage though she called the paramedic (or whatever…) and asked for treatement on her left foot (!) She had a big blister on the sole and we tennis (and feet) fans benefited of a loooong close up of her feet taken from various angles by two different cameras.I wouldn’t mind seeing that again !! Should you happen to find it on the net please do post a link. On top of that,the british commentator,once the match was over, went literally “well done by a player who not only had to overcome a tough opponent but also had to be treated for blisters on THOSE DELICATE FEET OF HERS” I woudn’t rate Maria’s feet as "delicate" but I immediately thought that the guy must have appreciated the scene as much as I had….I’m sure he’s into feet.
