Made it to "Rotten News."

so the guy offered shoes to women and wanted to watch them try them on? hmmmm what an awful pervert, im sure there is much worse going on in philly. that said, if hes making people uncomfortable thats wrong in my book and the age thing is a huge problem. this guy should have come around here and gotten lessons from the Wu's board 'pros'. but then, i guess people who do this sort of thing have more problems than not being able to get their fetishes indulged with consent. aaaah whatever.

No, he offered shoes to GIRLS, ages 13 to 17. THAT'S why he got in trouble. He was charged with, and I quote from that article, "indecent assault, unlawful contact with minors, corrupting the morals of minors and seven counts of harassment and stalking".

OK they were underage...but HOW in the hell do you corrupt the morals of a young girl by asking them to try on shoes? c'mon they probably jumped at the idea of free shoes.I think the guy at best should get a slap on the wrist for it, this is so petty..he obviously had no harmful intent.

i think i should go to prison he was getting his jollies looking at teenage girls feet he is paedophille scum

Well ya can't quite be looking at a girls feet in a pair of shoes that covers them, now can you? And there wasnt INDECENT EXPOSURE, in there. ANd no sexual deviations what so ever. So to say the guy was gettin his "jollies" off is pretty far from correct. Sure he may enjoy a pair of well broken in shoes, w/e. Yes the age thing isnt right, but he wasnt being a total perv about it. I guess it's a bit wierd, but he wasnt offering drugs to them, or trying to solicit sexual activity, prostitution or anything of that nature either. Think maybe he just might be a bit slow in the head.
Lol

According to the story, 5 of the 6 girls this guy confronted ran away (good for them), only one girl tried on the shoes.

I just hope that people reading the story realize that pedophelia is the crime, not foot or shoe fetishism.

Very simple;a lot of young girls don't fully understand the sexuality that's attached to feet.when they start figuring out what's going on,they then @ that point are probably confused.now for the the rest of thease girls lives they are going to attach this situation from some pervert with the sexuality there feet can have and will reject any form of foot worship or any man who they may be with who wants they're foot needs takin care of.
I don't understand why people just can't look and leave it @ that in public places with strangers.what people like this do is make us look more weird to the public then some may already think about us.no doubt,we al have fantasies that we want fufilled, but that doesn't give us the right to intrude on strangers privacy and lives.I'm not even gonna get into the whole age thing here, that in itself is fucked up and due to that I hope they lock his ass up

We have a local story going on right now of a triple murder where one of the accused is said to have had a foot fetish and it's been in the media a bit about his fetish. The crime was not committed becasue of his fetish but rather that he may have indulged in his fetish beofre or after the crime. This is all taking place in Indiana right now.

The story is pretty funny actually. Just think about what is happening next time you buy some shoes and the salesman asks that same question to you?

"Would you like to try on those shoes?"

OMG AM I BEING SEXUALLY HARRASSED?

[Tongue]

The guy was obviously trying to get his jollies off with young teens. What I question is how anybody is going to enforce fetish crimes especially if no real crime has taken place. Then how does it apply to normal society where you are asked to try on shoes all the time when in a shoe store? What about guys with armpit fetishes? Guys that like hands? If you let a girl try on a bracelet and you have a hand fetish should you go to jail? What if you geniunely promised her a bracelet and it has nothing to do with your fetish because you enjoy the company of adults? How would laws know the difference?

Now in the case of this man and the way the article is written is certainly sounds like he's guilty of corruption of a minor. It's a scary thought to ever thing of me having a foot fetish and being around somebody putting on shoes or taking a picture and they (with no pressure from me) happen to be barefoot in a picture. How would a law not confuse the two activities?

to suggest this guy isnt a paedophile is pretty far from correct the girls were 13 to 17 the guy needs to go to prison

yeah as rediculous as it may seem, this guy does fall more into the stalking/paedophilia category then 'normal foot fetish guy' whatever that means

Yeah, no matterwhat the age thing's wrong. But if it wasnt for the age, how is what he was doing any different than any of us who walk around and pick random girls and ask for shots of 'em barefoot? lol

Unfortunately guys, age IS a factor here. I don't understand why people gloss over or ignore that fact to make it seem like he's persecuted for being a foot guy. One of the charges is unlawful contact with a minor. If he was trying to get grown women, that's one thing, but he SPECIFICALLY targeted children. That ain't cool. Having a female try on shoes obviously did something sexual for him, regardless of whether he was stroking it out in the open or not, and THAT'S what they're using against him, not that he's into feet/shoes. That he wanted the female in question to be under 18.
