My wife started getting People magazine at the end of 2005 and has received 6 copies so far. I am very sad that there are so few feet pics in the magazine these days. I have thumbed through the last 5 or 6 copies of In Style that have been at the store and I am sad to say to that I have noticed a sharp decline in the number of feet and toes that can be seen in it's recent issues as well. I know it is the winter fashion season, but even at that, there are far less than normal for this time of year.

When we got In Style delivered to the house a few years ago it was freakin' CRAMMED with feet... enough to make a guy dizzy. I was also able to count on People magazine to provide many minutes of entertainment while I waited in line at the grocery store.

Is the barefoot/sandal trend going away?!?!?

We are all in a big shitty mess if it is!!!

Guys and gals, we need to get on the ball and make DAMN sure it doesn't!!!

LOL, just kidding, you know I'll keep pullin' for as long as I'm around. I hear what you're saying though, mywifesfeet. Granted, I haven't really leafed through People since back before I even had the Internet (hey, a guy's gotta jerk off to something!), but it does seem to me as though there are fewer sexy feet on display in mainstream magazines now than there used to be. It's also possible that I've just become super selective over the years from intense daily exposure to quality foot content, so anything less now completely pales in comparison. Hopefully it's just a seasonal thing as you speculated on, and perhaps with spring fashions being right around the corner we'll start seeing the sexy tootsies return to mainstream publications in mass number.

There are two British celebritiy mags with great barefoot photos in them--HELLO! and OK! Both are similar to PEOPLE, but much better. (OK! has recently started being published in the US.) If any of you have international newstands nears you, I highly recommend seeking them out.
