I've just come up with a great idea! Why don't we start an interactive story? What I mean is that somebody--me, perhaps--begins a story (with a foot-theme, of course), then other people contribute to it. It builds from there until some sort of ending is reached. A few rules: *Each new passage must be fairly short--no page long novels! *Each person can only contribute one new passage per day. *Each passage must be related to the rest of the story--no wild tangents! So what do you all think of this?

Sounds cool, but what if the particular theme doesn't appeal to a whole lot of people on the forum? For instance, what if you've got a whole lot of heels and nylons? I can't say as I'd be too interested in writing something if that were the case.
I tried this a while back, and I think my particular theme didn't really move people to write. Brother Reinforced contributed some excellent stuff, but other than him and me we didn't get any other takers. My big thing in the story I started was the girl being a hardcore barefooter, meaning she didn't believe in wearing any shoes at all, regardless of the consequences. I can't help but think I shot for a demographic of folks who may be a minority within a minority around here.
But hey, try it...hammer out a start point, and wait to see what happens. Even though I've got projects out the nose going on right now in the writing department, this could be an interesting change of pace for me, and I might be a contributor myself.
